Anyone see the video of Brook Lopez basically body slamming the Raptors mascot last night? I didn't see what lead up to it but the look on his face and how aggressive he was about it almost seems like it wasn't a planned thing.

His brother has been going around the NBA "picking fights" with mascots.friendfromlowry;1785267 wrote:Anyone see the video of Brook Lopez basically body slamming the Raptors mascot last night? He never won anything either. 39 seasons, no rings. Straight garbage.Commander of Awesome;1785623 wrote:Good, fuck him. He was such a POS.

I agree. I can bitch and moan about refs in general due to disagreeing about calls and the like, but the only officials I genuinely dislike are guys like him and Joe West (baseball), who go out of their way to make things about them instead of the competition they're supposedly officiate.Commander of Awesome;1785623 wrote:Good, fuck him. Boogie Cousins suspended for a game after the incident last night where he blew up for Karl not defending him enough to the refs.
Proof positive he will never be the "man" on a good team. At best he will be. 2nd fiddle, 3rd is more likely.

I saw this interaction happen. He was yelling not at Karl but an assistant. He didn't think they were sticking up for the players or asking the refs about fouls. It was heated but didn't seem over the top. Then moments later cousins and coaches were smiling and laughing. So I though, eh just a heat of the moment thing. But apparently they didn't like it

Note: I guess I should say I never saw him yelling directly at Karl. It could have happened at a different time.

Well considering Boogie has never won more than 29 games his career, I'd say he's significantly behind Love. But, I'm talking purely about maturity, but I know your just here to Troll, so have at it.sleeper;1785696 wrote:Where does that put K.Love then?

Not here to troll. Just think Boogie is doing what Love did on an irrelevant team and Cavs fans fell in Love when in reality he put up good stats on a bad team and isn't a max player.HighRoller74;1785701 wrote:Well considering Boogie has never won more than 29 games his career, I'd say he's significantly behind Love. Guess it happened more after the game and that's what got boogie suspended.

The guy is amazing and is one of my favorite players, but it's always a step forward followed by a step back.
Speaking of good stats on a bad team, how about Devin Booker? Dude is flat out balling. The comparisons to Klay Thompson are really coming to fruition. On the young side of 19 years old and averaging 28 PPG over the last 5. Has the game to be a top 5 scorer in the league.
