No chance. If Kyrie is playing on a bum knee its because Kyrie is pushing for it DESPITE the Cavs being against it.BR1986FB;1732673 wrote:I saw a Deadspin article implying that the Cavs organization is pushing Kyrie to play on a bum wheel.

Stephen A Smith was ripping Blatt for playing him that much last night.BR1986FB;1732673 wrote:I saw a Deadspin article implying that the Cavs organization is pushing Kyrie to play on a bum wheel.

We don't need Kyrie to win. We needed our bench to do something; ANYTHING. No reason to believe they will have another trash pit game like the first game. I can't remember a time when our bench played worse.like_that;1732676 wrote:Yes, at this point I am more concerned about Kyrie not being able to play next year than I am about game 2. I need to hear good news soon, before I look forward to game 2 smh.

What's the deal with Windhorst? He was solid before he followed LBJ to Miami and since he's been back he's been a bitch.like_that;1732676 wrote: Yes, and their source is cleveland's resident gossip bitch boy windhorst.

I'm not sure the Cavs can win without Kyrie unless Smith and Shumpert really pick up the scoring and LeBron drops 40+ every night. It's an awfully tall task. Kyrie was a big reason the Cavs offense did as well as they did last night.

There's no doubt in my mind Lebron is going to average 40 ppg this series. The bench will step up and produce as expected going forward. It's painfully obvious GSW had the best game they will have the entire series last night and they barely won.Azubuike24;1732686 wrote:I'm not sure the Cavs can win without Kyrie unless Smith and Shumpert really pick up the scoring and LeBron drops 40+ every night. I wouldn't be shocked if does average 40 PPG. I seriously doubt that was GSW's best performance though...they were horrible for the entire first quarter and much of the 3rd.

You really expect GSW to get 34 points from their bench the rest of the series? No chance.Azubuike24;1732689 wrote:I wouldn't be shocked if does average 40 PPG. I seriously doubt that was GSW's best performance though...they were horrible for the entire first quarter and much of the 3rd.

The Cavs apart from LeBron and Kyrie shot 32%. Everyone was sloppy last night. That can be expected after a week off. However, GS was obviously more comfortable on their home floor, and that showed in their shooting. We limited Curry and Thompson for much of the game, but allowed GS's role players to keep them in it.Azubuike24;1732689 wrote:I wouldn't be shocked if does average 40 PPG. I don't think that will be GS's best performance, but I think Cleveland has much more to give as well. I've got to think our bench will not play that poorly again. Also, while I want Kyrie healthy, that takes another ISO player off the court for the Cavs, hopefully allowing a little more ball movement resulting in more open looks.

In LeBron's defense of the last shot, watch the video. Draymond was basically in the key with eyes fixed on LeBron. I agree he should've attacked, but it's not like it was a stroll in the park. He had an excellent and lengthy defender on him in Iguodala, and the defensive player of the year runner up was completely ignoring his man with eyes fixed on LeBron as well. Maybe he should've tried to pull a Harden and just draw the foul. In the end though, are you really going to complain about the guy who completely carried them the entire game?

I don't see Golden State winning 2 of 3 in Cleveland but I don't see anyway the Cavs win this. Lebron was incredible, Kyrie was awesome, and the Warriors still pulled it out. Golden State just has so many options and looks so smooth offensively, reminds me of what the Spurs did to Miami last season

Does anyone have video of the Moz "travel"? I didn't stay up to see the end and all I keep hearing is how bad of a call it was.

Not really sure that's a travel. But it sure as hell is not a travel in the NBA. And IN THE FINALS? No. Awful call.

Last night's game was a kick in the dick for sure, but lets move on. I still believe.

Agreed. And I'm slightly surprised there was no foul called, but then again, it seemed like anytime we went strong to the hole and there was significant contact, nothing was called. However, we didn't lose the game because of the officials. Our role players simply need to play better, or we're going to end up like 2007.wildcats20;1732700 wrote:I found it.

Too many lapses on defense, the first and third quarters they were excellent defensively, have to be sound for 4 quarters. ISOing Lebron that much is fine but they need to move off the ball, gotta get more shooters involved.

Need to get this series. With the talent they have, I'd expect them to return to the finals again but there are never any guarantees. Gotta strike while the opportunity exists.

Hello? It's the NBA. The home team is going to get the calls and the visitors will have fantom traveling calls. It been that way since 1980. Home court and home calls are the most prevalent in the NBA.

That's cool as long as we get some calls our way in Cleveland. I'm skeptical that happens though.Sonofanump;1732729 wrote:Hello? It's the NBA. I can't stand the negativity in this thread. It's 1 game, at their place, that we took to OT, with an entirely useless bench.
No reason to be anything but optimistic going forward.
