Forget my record...think it is 5-3 now.

Pitt picked up some much needed defensive help in the draft this weekend while the reds suffer an injury to their second most potent offensive stud.....Cozart.

X rays were negative so he may be able to play tuesday. Expect it to hinder his power numbers until he fully heals.

Didn't watch much of the game, but I'm glad to see that Price put Chappy in even though it was 7-1.

Having him get completely ready(like he had been doing) and then not using him is just idiotic.

Diff situation than when we discussed this last week.
Chappy clearly was used so he could stay sharp. It had been a full week since he had been in a game.
Last week he had thrown on the 27th and 28th and didnt need to come in on the 30th with a 5-1 lead.

I was OK with it last night because it had been so long. Closers tend to struggle in spots with a big lead because the adrenaline just isnt there. I thought he was getting squeezed last night a bit.
