The Tribe heads to the D for a 3 game weekend set vs the Tigers. Chilly night game today 1 PM starts on Saturday and Sunday.

Friday
Salazar 1-0 3.00 vs Greene 3-0 0.39

Saturday
Bauer 2-0 0.95 vs Simon 3-0 1.74

Sunday
Carrasco 2-1 2.38 vs Lobstein 1-1 3.27


Detroit is 29-12 vs Cleveland over the last 3 seasons and 11-7 in games at Comerica Park.

This. Plus out hitters need to stop freaking out in clutch spots (runners on board etc). We never get a rally going versus them. Seems we can maybe scrape a run every few innings, but nothing big because our guys get anxious and make bad outs.

And our dominant pitchers seem to suck versus them. But maybe that is incorrect. I do recall Kluber having some solid outings.

Im expecting a sweep. I'm more curious as to how bad our 3 pitchers look (Carrasco and Bauer in particular) after extremely impressive starts versus the rest of the league.

Maybe we can petition to carry over some of the extra runs for the next few games.

This is so reminiscent of last year. Don't hit for a few games, score like 15, and then trumpet that statistically they have an average/above average offense.

There is just no middle ground with these guys seemingly.
