So an off duty cop fires a gun over his shoulder into a group of black guys. He's charged with involuntary manslaughter instead of murder.
Judge rules it's not involuntary manslaughter, but murder, and case is dismissed.
Cop can't be charged again b/c of Double Jeopardy lol

He'll go to jail for wrongful death.
Prosecutors should've charged for murder. Not sure what they were thinking.

How do you figure?
He was already charged for a crime.
You cant be charged again for the same incident after it goes to trial.
they can sue him for wrongful death... he can't go to jail for it.

JMHO but states need to consider bringing back private prosecution associations of the old common law when it comes to prosecuting alleged criminal conduct on the part of government officials, etc. (or something along those lines). I have friends who are cops and friends who are prosecutors but the fact is they have inherent conflicts of interest (IMHO).

You are great to point out the obvious of today embellished plight of Blacks but you never look at the bigger picture of the real turmoil of today Black community problems. Blame the white people, blame the cops, blame the system, blame the guns, blame, blame and more blame. Then if there is no reasonable solution, why even bother complaining? The reality is there are bad people out there and people out there that make poor decisions. The media is just selling newspapers and doesn't give a fuck about actual journalism and unbiased fact reporting. No we've reached a point in society where poor people and minorities finally have a voice to the masses thru social media and other outlets. Before we could shut them up pretty easily; keep them out of sight/out of mind. People are taking notice now. It kills a lot of people that they have to listen to poor people now.
