Manny needs an act of God right now because close rounds are going to scored for Mayweather. You aren't going to decision him, and Manny can't knock him out.

Boring as hell through 11, likely a unanimous decision for Mayweather coming, Manny may get 1 judge if he's lucky

It drives him crazy, but people will never consider Floyd the greatest because his style is like watching paint dry.

Yup, Floyd was smart to wait until Manny was a shell of himself before he finally fought him. Now it can't be held against him, but clearly the fight isn't what it probably would have been 4-5 years ago.

Was never really a doubt. Manny is WAY past his prime, the drug testing didn't help him at all either.

Wasted my time staying up to watch this shit. Floyd played defense the entire damn match and won.

Boring.

Whats great is all the people bitching on twitter about this fight.

This was exactly the way the fight was always going to go. Manny's only chance was knocking him out. If it lasted past 6, it's was all Floyd.

Manny's age had 0% to do with it. Guaranteed money was the definitive factor.

MMA wins by KO tonight. Boxing is just a business now, this fight could have been incredible 5 years ago but it's all about the dollar now, not about the best fighting the best consistently anymore. There are no legendary fights anymore.

Floyd Mayweather told reporters after the fight: "We both are two smart fighters. Pacquiao is a more smarter fighter than I thought ... But I was just the smarter man tonight."
SMH.

Leading up to the fight a lot of speculation about a possible rematch pending the outcome. Wonder how much interest there'd be if they fought again.

Ha no. Boxing is like baseball, it may wain a bit but it won't be overtaken. MMA can be entertaining, but boxing will always have that mainstream appeal that UFC never will. Just look at the PPV numbers, boxing matches annually destroy UFC

No they don't, MMA has sold more PPV's than boxing every year for like 8 straight. Boxing hurt itself a lot tonight. Boxing has like 2 big fights a year, Floyd and Manny about to retire, no other draws in boxing currently. This fight was huge but an anomaly.

Canelo is a huge draw. And UFC has more events, the biggest tho are regularly boxing matches

You can't be serious. One boxing match draws twice of what mma draws. The fight last night pretty much obliterated what mma does in a year lol.

Yeah, I knew what was in 90% likelihood going to happen beforehand. That's why all of us hanging out started doing shots at about 6 p.m. -- to get obliterated enough to make it watchable.
