I was going to try to defend it by bringing up the possibility that freshman didn't play or people left early. But then I looked it up and this is the first time in their history that Louisville has made 4 straight Sweet 16's. Pretty surprising. I thought it would be more than that.reclegend22;1716788 wrote:Wayne Blackshear is the first Louisville player to play in four Sweet 16s. That sounds like an awfully depressing stat for a school as rich in tradition as Louisville supposedly is.

The University's official Twitter posted this after the win last Sunday, but stated "he was the first PLAYER" in history to do it.sherm03;1716789 wrote:I was going to try to defend it by bringing up the possibility that freshman didn't play or people left early. The UL Twitter feed got Trolled by hundreds of UK fans responding with tons of players (UK and non-UK) who have done it. They ended up removing it.

Arvydas was so great. If there is one player in the NBA from my youth that I wish were still playing today, I think it'd be him. He was so entertaining to watch, even as limited as he eventually became due to injuries. If not for those, Sabonis might have been the greatest center of his day.Mulva;1716795 wrote:Karnowski with the Sabonis pass to Sabonis.

I mean, a team from the Horizon League visited the national championship game twice in a row just four years ago. That stat is a complete joke. If possible, I may hate Louisville more than you do. Praying that N.C. State rallies.Azubuike24;1716796 wrote:The University's official Twitter posted this after the win last Sunday, but stated "he was the first PLAYER" in history to do it.

Louisville and NC State calling a timeout right before every single media timeout.

End of college games when a team is down 9+ are brutal. Takes forever..
On the plus side: I'm 6-6 so far in the elite 8 on my bracket and if duke and msu win I'll be 8-8

Good fortunes for Utah as I kept flipping back and forth between games and whatever game I was watching the team I was wanting to lose was making a run and the other game the team I wanted to win was making a run while I wasn't watching.....like that both of the whole damn game.
For now I'm watching Duke/Utah

The regional finals should all be pretty good. Duke/Gonzaga, Kentucky/Notre Dame, Arizona/Wisconsin and Pitino/Izzo. I think we can all agree that a Michigan State/Louisville match-up of those coaches who everyone counted at this year would be more entertaining than Villanova/Virginia...

Refs must have a flight to catch by not calling fouls at the end of that game.
