Eastern Dub showed some signs of life as Georgetown went into classic mode, but it appears not to be. As with N.C. State's game earlier, this is not a win for the program. It only ensures that they will remain long-term losers for years to come.

Already done with my bracket. Lol that was absolutely horrible. Lost a final four team and three elite eight teams on the first fucking day.
I'm a watcher from here on out.

Yeah I lost a team I had in the finals and 3 elite eight teams lol. I'm just hoping for upsets/great games now. It was awesome just getting to watch and enjoy the games instead of worrying about brackets/player pickem's yesterday.SportsAndLady;1715109 wrote:Already done with my bracket. I was pretty chalk this year. Just didn't see the dark horses. So my goal was to snag some points first 2 rounds and then try to figure out who advances.
Missed 5 and 6, have 14 and 15 Sweet 16 left. And those two brackets are near the middle and near the bottom of my pool.

I have 15/16 and 8/8 remaining, but am also in the 12th percentile on ESPN. Missed Purdue, Texas, Ole Miss, Baylor, LSU, E Wash, SMU and Iowa State.

Another mediocre day today and I'll be in such a hole that I'll need almost all my picks to win since I'm pretty close to chalk after the Sweet 16.GOONx19;1715117 wrote:I have 15/16 and 8/8 remaining, but am also in the 12th percentile on ESPN. My main goal with my pools is to have at least some life heading into the second Friday. I planned on playing small ball this year with a top-heavy tourney, but I'm falling so far behind that I'm not going to have any margin for error in the later rounds.

Tough year to be a Baylor fan. A "National Title contender" football team blows it against MSU with a complete choke job in the 4th in a New Years Day bowl game after missing the playoffs.
Then the basketball team with a 3 seed chokes against a 14 in the couple of minutes surrendering a 13-0 run to lose on a desperation 3 heave well behind the line.

Only upset that worked for me was UCLA. Only picked them because I am an Alford fan.

As boring as it seems,if you pick strictly the favs every game ya typically do better than a vast majority of people.gut;1715116 wrote:I was pretty chalk this year. Just didn't see the dark horses. So my goal was to snag some points first 2 rounds and then try to figure out who advances.

I have 16/18 Sweet 16 and 8/8 Elite 8 left. I missed 7 games yesterday, which isn't bad considering I watched very little CBB this year compared to what I usually watch.

Yeah, but you'll rarely win anything unless you hit a huge % of your picks. My bracket heavily weights riding lower seeds, so if you hang around and have a 5-8 seed go to the Elite 8 or Final 4 you can end-up in the money.thavoice;1715143 wrote:As boring as it seems,if you pick strictly the favs every game ya typically do better than a vast majority of people.

LOL, of course I give little thought to the 14 seeds and 2 already have won....take a flyer on New Mex and they get blown out.. Hahahah, this is why I do two brackets.

Rooting very hard for Wichita State, would absolutely love to watch them play Kansas

Buffalo can't hit shit, they're already in the bonus at 13:30 (8th on WVU) and they have 6 points (2 via FT's)

Matt Costello is so worthless. Michigan State has turned +12 into +6 in 30 seconds, and they can't make free throws.

Nice easy win for Kansas earlier. Only saw 10 min of the first half but they looked good.
Wichita/Kansas (if they get by Indiana right now) will mean so much to the state of Kansas lol

A 12 seed has failed to advance only 3 times in the past 30 years. Last two years 3 advanced.

Is C-Webb drinking? He and Lenny Elmore sound wasted.
Belmont and Buffalo hanging around, but it doesn't appear as if it is going to end well for either. The Bruins got off to a scorching start from beyond the arc. Virginia, however, is doing its best to lull Belmont to sleep. I think that is literally Virginia's plan. God I hate watching them play and I also hate Malcolm Brogdon's head.

Buffalo down 4 and has the ball coming out of the last media timeout. If they can score this possession and stop fucking turning it over it could be interesting right down to the end
