Basically how I see it playing out.

Trade out of the Top 10 and select Thomas. Pick up a pick or two.

How would you feel about drafting Jimmy Clausen?

At #38? Recent mock over on the OBR has us with Berry at #7 & Clausen at #38. There's been a lot of talk recently of Clausen making an Aaron Rodgers/Brady Quinn type free fall. Smell Kiper has him going to the Vikes at 30.

If Clausen falls that far, I'd take him over McCoy.

But he isn't worth it to me for our 1st rounder.

Agreed. The pill wouldn't be as bitter to swallow at 38 then at #7. The funny thing is, I'm hearing that Tebow AND McCoy could leapfrog him.

I still don't like him, but QB is a need and he would likely be the best player on the board if he is there at #38, so I could live with it.

Not really imo.

Cleveland was able to trade down multiple times in last years draft.

There will always be mid level teams that try to get into the Top 10 in order to get their specific player.

Last year was the perfect storm for other teams to trade up because Mangini grabbed his ankles and had an "insert here" sign with an arrow pointing down taped to his lower back.

Haha, true.

But Cleveland, if they want to, will find a suitable trade partner.

Clausen is the most pro ready QB in this year's draft. I read it in ND's press release about hm.

I'm gonna snap if they take Derrick Morgan. I've been hearing his name ALL afternoon for the #7 pick. Either him or Dan Williams. Didn't they learn their lesson from the failed Wimbley experiment?

The names being dropped for/by Cleveland are all over the place.

I'm not buying into ANY of it.

I think it's all a smokescreen.

Which generally means I don't have a clue what the Browns are going to do at this point.

How far back do you think the Browns be will be able to drop and still grab Thomas? It seems like his name is gaining some momentum and there are quite a few teams interested.

I think if Berry is gone they should just take Thomas at 7. He is getting alot of attention and it's not really a huge reach.

Just said on ESPN that Cleveland has been on the phone with St. Louis about the #1 pick. The original offer was for most of our picks this year, and a few next year. I hate it.

If the Browns give away their whole draft for Bradford I will never again in my life spend a penny on the Browns or any Browns merchandise. If they move up and take Suh I won't be as upset, though I still wouldn't like losing all of those picks.

They might want to stay where they are. I am reading over on the live ESPN chat, that Dallas is in talks with the Dolphins about moving up. Now this could be for one of two reasons in my opinion, Jerry Jones is just trying to prove that he and Parcells are on good terms, or the more likely scenario - Dallas wants Earl Thomas.
