Mangini has said he will never use anything but a 3/4. Bruce Drennan asked him in Mangini's introductory press conference as coach last year. Drennan was a fan of the 4-3 and was hoping Mangini would bring in a 4-3 rather than a 3-4.

Agreed. This Todd McSheay is an idiot. Suh had twice as many sacks as McCoy.
everything ive read about Mcoy and Suh are ranked both 1a and 1b, it actually depends on the what kind of tackle you need. Suh also had two knee operations while at Nebraska so those could have played into his rankings to.
Last year, Dmonokong Suh had 12 sacks. 12 sacks post knee operations. McCoy had 6.5 sacks.

Now there's nothing wrong with 6.5 sacks...and the Oklahoma dude should be a fine pro player. But Suh played up the middle for the most part, and was head and shoulders over anybody else.

Don't forget, Nebraska's defense dominated a pass happy conference.

Drafting McCoy over Suh would be eerily similar to drafting Courtney Brown over LeVarr Arrington.....only a lot worse.

I would think one should never take McCoy over Suh, but both will fill needs for different teams.

Anyone konw when the coin tosses to determine the final draft order is?

I guess the deal was Kolb for Rogers straight up.

^ Is Kolb really that good? Just draft Keenum in the 6th round and get your houston QB for cheaper.

I remember that but the diffeence between this year and last year is Mangini is no longer calling all the shots.

^ No he isn't. My bad. I just am curious why everyone likes Kolb so much. Is he going to be that much better than brady?

I don't want Kolb. I'm just stating what I've heard.

What's everyone think about Chad Pennington as a possible candidate for the starting job?

Perfect Match for our Offense. Receviers can't get open deep, And Pennington can't throw deep.

What you've heard about what?

Kolb would be a definite improvement at the qb position. I still don't see Philly keeping Kolb and McNabb. Look for Heckert and Holmgren to try to acquire one of these guys.

As for Rogers for Kolb. Would do it in a heartbeat. I think Rubin will develop into a good starting nose tackle.

Who do you think the 1st round pick will be? The mock draft says CB Joe Haden from FLA but I'm not sure if they'll pick him or not...Would love to get Eric Berry but I'm pretty sure he wont slide down that far. Or do you think we'll trade our first pick again? Haha

Would be satisfied with either Haden or Berry. Either one would instantly make the secondary much improved. I really hope they do not pick Dez Bryant or Jimmy Clausen.

My friend and I were talking, and a radical approach to the Browns draft that he wouldn't mind is if we took Okung/Campbell/Davis with our first pick and Ducasse (sp?) with our second, that way we would solidify our oline.

I almost just want to get rid of everyone. Get rid of Rogers, Wimbley, Quinn, Cribbs, Anderson, etc... I just don't want to see them anymore. I don't want to hear their lies of production.

Trading down wouldn't be such a terrible idea, this is a deep draft...

Three players that the Browns expressed interest in during the first day of the Combine were LSU OT Ciron Black, Eric Cook, interior lineman (played center), New Mexico and Arizona TE Rob Gronkowski.

The word is that they are looking to get an 'NFL game ready' running back in this draft.

If Bradford drops to #7, he's the likely pick from what I've heard.

There is absolutely no way the Browns take three WRs in their top four picks from last year and this year. Especially with Holmgren around, but I don't even think Manginus would do something that stupid on his own.

Doubtful.....character issues.

BTW....Mike Mayock now has Earl Thomas listed ahead of Eric Berry in his top 5 safeties.
