Compared to where he was projected to go I'd say they got some value there.

Why pick higher for a guy when you don't need to? Now we get him at end of 3rd round money.. basically Colt for free.

I'm just worried why he dropped. Was it his injury? Or was there really a lack of 'need' by most teams to go with a QB.

Either way. I liked the kid and felt he was draftable. I didn't think we'd be drafting him at the end of the 3rd round, if we did at all.

One thing, we know he'll look good in orange.

Makes ya wonder. Won the most games in college history and is extremely accurate. He may be shorter but he doesn't get balls batted down. Who knows?

James Harrison is licking his chops. Bad draft for Cleveland thus far.

Hopefully RT or WR. No other position please. I hope Gruden coaches next year also.

Steelers haven't exactly lit the world on fire. Besides, Old Man Harrison will probably be gone from the Burgh or retired by the time McCoy sees the field.

Hopefully McCoy has a chip on his shoulder after his freefall.

So this is probably stupid...but this thought just crossed my mind. What are the odds that after Delhomme throws a few picks (and lets face it, there's bound to be some) some ignorant Browns fans start chanting "Put in Colt" a la when we had Charlie Frye. Having a popular fan-favorite as a backup usually isn't a good thing in Cleveland. Hopefully this group of coaches and front office won't fold to the fans and they'll do what's right, not what's popular.

Colt shouldn't see the field except occasional spot duty this year. Don't throw him into the fire if Delhomme and/or Wallace flame out. We don't need a Couch or Frye rehash.

Well, all except the WR have been added after the addition of a guard.

From an impartial, non-Browns fan ... what a steal by Cleveland. You guys got 1st-round talent in the 3rd round, I would be thrilled if I was a Browns fan.

Gilyard still there, but Philadelphia holds pretty much the rest of our picks at this point

Colt will be the starter by game 7. Book it. Who wants to watch a washed up 35 year old man?
