Watched for an hour and a half last night. Love the parts with Mike. I missed the first half of the first episode; can anyone fill me in on WTF his brother is doing with his "grounding" and electricity issues?

They never really said what his actual problem is I don't think. Just that people need to ground themselves before coming into his house. It's also the reason he has taken a sabbatical from work. I am not sure on the timing of the episode, so I don't know if you saw it, but he thinks he is eventually going to get better and return to work.GOONx19;1704618 wrote:Watched for an hour and a half last night. I'm guessing either cancer or mental.

I thought I posted this last night but I must have been grounded. The first two episodes were very well done and entertaining. I think the brother is just plain crazy. When Jimmy(Saul) went to the law firm that the brother worked at he stated he's been gone for over a year he's not coming back. In defense of Tuco the skateboarders did call his grandmother a bizz-atch!

I guess no interest in the show. I think it is done well and appears to have a good shelf life.

I really liked last night's episode. Next one will be interesting. Getting into Mike's back story.

Solid episodes so far. The scenes with his prospective clients in last night's episodes were good. Like how they are starting to develop Mike's back story. The show is not a Breaking Bad clone and is standing on its own as a quality show.

It's been slow to get rolling, outside of Tuco.
Last night was pretty good. The $500k of funny money was actually a really nice piece of writing and acting. I also liked how they made the viewer suffer thru Saul's having to wait on that slow, old lady - I just started laughing after she finally gets to the bottom of the stairs, and then we have to wait for her to walk across the room.
I'm not quite sure what this show will really be. I THINK it's going to be a bunch of quirky court cases with plenty of shenanigans and shady dealings, which I've always enjoyed watching. But I'm still waiting on that. What they've been showing us is Saul is actually pretty smart and capable, but that got him nowhere.

It's called "electromagnetic hypersensitivity". It's a "real" (controversial) condition.GOONx19;1704618 wrote:Watched for an hour and a half last night. Love the parts with Mike. Definitely digging this show so far. They have done a really good job with it, and the Breaking Bad easter eggs throughout the episodes are always pretty fun to catch.

I like the show, don't love it yet like BB. I'm interested to see the development of Mike and Saul's relationship. Knowing how it is tears into the future it should be fun to see it progress.
