I've heard about his diabetes and having to take shots on the sideline. Never heard it described as anything but an annoyance though...

That was a joke. I know they aren't going to ban him for that but he might be the dumbest player in the league. If it was his first offense in a drug test with weed then he would have went into a program and not suspended, just like Gordon. Gordon didnt get a year for his first incident. He was already in the program for repeated postive tests.
I think they should have added in an extra couple games for Bell for plain stupidity in saying he didnt know it was against the law to toke weed and drive, and for doing so I think right before getting on a plane for a road trip.
