I wonder if this is permanent?
Sounds like it.

Not sure where the link is at but it said it's just for this year so he can contribute. Wouldn't be surprised if it ends up a permanent change though if he's as good as people think he can be.

Yeah that's my thoughts as well. Maybe he spends next spring, assuming Cardale leaves battling for QB, but who knows. He could come and be like Randy Moss (Just comparing, not saying will happen), and never look back.

Never realized he was 6'5. Obviously a long shot and a late switch, but it'd be nice if he could turn into a deep threat we seem to be missing.

When Braxton moved to WR, I posted on bucknuts that I had a feeling that'd make Gibson switch sooner than later. Pumped he made the move. In the video they posted today he was making some plays.

I don't think it's a long shot at all. He'd have been a 5☆ WR out of hs. Kid is a freak athlete.

This.

Kind of seemed like this was going to happen regardless. OSU was one of the few, if the only, team that was even going to give him a shot at QB.

Urbie is a master manipulator with these kids...get 'em in the corral then drop "suggestions" so they think its their idea in the first place to make the move to another position. Nothing wrong with it, WR was always Braxton's only hope for any kind of NFL career and we will have to see what kind of skills Gibson truly has but the early line on him is strong as a wideout.

And he can still play QB if he wants but he wouldn't sniff a game this year and probably next year either. He wants to get on the field and WR gives him the best chance.

Just finalized plans for some friends to come here for the weekend of the Rutgers game.

Right now the cheapest for 4 seats together is $184 a pop. Seems high right? I'm assuming that's just because it's early they want to gouge the OSU supporters?

I think I'm going to wait it out. I have a hard time dropping $200 on a ticket in August for a game that will most likely be a clownstomping.

Yeah don't pay that. You can get it cheaper closer to the game.

Rutgers will be paying people to attend that game by the time it rolls around. Of course NYC Alumni Club may overwhelm that entire stadium.

Kid better get his head on straight...

@11W: This is starting to bubble up: We can confirm Joey Bosa was briefly detained by CPD last night, questioned and released. No arrest/charges.

Obviously it doesn't mean he did anything wrong, but at the very least he needs to find a new crew to run around with.

We don't need Bosa. If he continues to act like an idiot, I'd make an example of him.

The team is stacked to all hell and our schedule isn't exactly top notch. We should straight up win every game by 4 TDs and win the title even with massive injuries during the season. The two deep is unreal and behind the two deep is like an ocean of talent that could be even better than what's currently available. Definitely a great time to be a Buckeye.

As much as I love OSU, the fact that they were unanimously voted number 1 in a meaningless preseason poll doesn't give me too much to be excited about.

lol wut?

The fact that we won it all last year, didn't lose any underclassmen to the draft, a loaded incoming class, just fucking loaded all over, etc.

Oh yeah....and our coach is URBAN MEYER.

I'm VERY EXCITED.
