I know, I've told you that already. But it's a done deal, so you'll just have to sulk until reality plays out, when you can sulk even more.

I'll check back with your sources and get back to you.

That's not always the case. I know plenty of recent grads who just took the bar, have a job lined up but don't know if they've passed the bar or not. Wont find out until Nov. In fact I know someone who took the bar last yr, failed (just retook it) and kept their job at the law firm while they've waited to retake the bar.

Yes it is. Your friends who continued to work at firms until they passed did not do so as an "attorney", they did so as a law clerk. You cannot practice law as an attorney until you are licensed by a bar.

I feel like you put too much emphasis on what your job says about you personally. "I'm a lawyer, so I'm obviously smarter than you." You have to realize that your profession says jack shit about what you know regarding sports, movies, bio-molecular homeopathic symbiosis, or anything else. It means you went to school for 6-10 years, studied 1 particular subject incredibly thoroughly, then were certified to practice a profession because of your ability to pass a test of your acumen for the subject you spent the last 2-6 years of your schooling focusing on. I'm not trying to suggest you're an idiot. Seriously, if I get a parking ticket that I think is bullshit, you're one of the people I'd ask about fighting it. But you're still some shit head fanboy like the rest of us, having internet pissing matches on a forum with less than 200 regular users. All of whom in a general sense, have the same interests, likes, personality and yet we somehow find a way to bicker and wax poetic about how our own way in the world is better than everyone else's.

I know this to be true, because I'm an engineer. I only paid for 4 years of school and I have a sweet job and tons of money.

Also, engineer>>>>>>>lawyer.

I'm sticking with my thought of JT. Reading both of those articles reconfirmed my thoughts. Only area Cardale is better is arm strength. Even the other coaches/players in the conference are more afraid of playing against JT.

Pretty much everything I've read and been told by people I trust is that JT is already the choice.

This has been what I've heard too and, if so, Cardale probably left some money on the table by not going pro while his stock was up. I'm skeptical someone would've reached for him in the 1st round but had heard a few would've turned in the card for him in the 2nd.

Why would Cardale come back to school to sit the bench? Doesn't make sense.

I think he still gets drafted because even if he doesn't play this year, NFL teams just saw him play out of his mind for 3 games. If Cassel can get drafted without playing a game at USC, no reason Cardale won't be drafted anyway. I think he came back to compete for the spot and to win another championship.

I don't think he thought he would be.

As sleeper said, I think he'll be drafted but instead of possibly being a 2nd round pick, he could be a 4th or 5th and lose money. Pure speculation as I have no idea where teams will grade him if he doesn't play this year.

I would have to think that there were conversations between him and Meyer about being the starting QB or having a leg up on the comp, otherwise coming back doesn't make much sense to me.

I think if he left last year he would have been the 3rd QB taken and that was in the late 3rd. Next year, assuming he doesn't play a game, I see him in the same spot. By coming back, if he plays, he has a chance to be the #1 QB off the board.

He should see the field this season.

I wonder if this is permanent?
