Going to a NYE party a block from my place. Drinks and ppl a plenty. First time I haven't hosted in a while, which I'm happy about. Then I go to bed whenever the fuck I want. Usually end up awake til 4am+ plus the idiots staying over wont STFU. Like herding cats to get them to go to bed.

New Year's Day, bike ride/making chili/watching tOSU.

Not doing much, may have people over. Couldn't find a babysitter, and I feel bad having people watch our daughter anyways when she's on some weird night shift schedule and sleeps from like 2am - noon most nights anyways. Last year my wife found out she was pregnant the week before NYE and we already had plans to go to Chicago. We still went, but coupled that with the snowstorm that hit that day, it was a waste of time.

Careful on the walk home. Radio today was reporting NYE is the highest fatality day of the year for pedestrians!

Party's at my house this year. 3 or 4 couples get together every year-rotate hosting. We usually just sit around laughing at each others stories. Good time with good friends-nobody ever gets drunk-nobody disappears into a bedroom with another guys wife or anything like that-just a boring party. lol

When I was younger, I wanted to go to NYC for NYE. But the more I've read about it, it sounds like the biggest pain in the ass trip ever.

So it is like a progressive party, except it is just at one house and doesnt lead to husbands swapping their wive's for someone else's husband...

No tweedledee. That's the opposite of not growing up. Thanks for playing.
