From the talk shows to the TV media...and to all the idiots that claim "our quarterback is not on the roster". Let's see how smart you are. "let's shit can Johnny after 6 quarters" (Please don't count the 80 yard touchdown drive against Buffalo. We need to forget that trivial event.)
Case history number 1.
This quarterback in his rookie season completed 38% of his passes. He threw 6 touchdowns and 24 interceptions. His second year? 54.% 13 TD's and 22 picks. He later went on to go 4-0 in Super Bowls and is now a member of the Hall of Fame? Who is this bum that should have been run out of town after 6 quarters? Never mind the immaculate reception...it was all luck.
Case history number 2.
This guy should have been shit canned after 6 quarters too. His first season he started and played in 5 games. He completed 52% of his passes throwing 8 interceptions and 3 touchdown passes. His second year 54%..8 TD's and 13 inte4rcepyion. Later, he was named NFL player of the year twice, was a Super Bowl winner and at the time of his retirement, he had the highest quarterback rating in the history of the league (now third) Who is this left handed POS who succeeded Joe Montana in San Francisco?
Case history number 3
This guy had a quarterback rating of 78 over his first 2 seasons completing 62% of his passes throwing 37 TD's and 37 picks. He is the only quarterback to win 3 consecutive MVP. He is the only quarterback in NFL history to throw for over 70,000 yards, over 6,000 completions., and over 10,000 pass attempts. Oh BTW, he won a Super Bowl. This guy should have been "voted off the roster" after 6 quarters, because we here in Cleveland...we know our shit. Not gonna give this one away...but he played almost his entire career at the at Lambeau Field.
Case history number 4.
Now here's a guy that should have been cut after 5 quarters...not 6. I know this because I'm a Cleveland fan and by default, a talent expert...especially at the quarterback position. This Cowboy completed 53% of his passes as a rookie with 9 TD's and 18 picks. His second year? 57%. 11 TD's and 18 picks. He was pulled several times in his rookie season.
Maybe he had 4 3rd down conversions dropped by his receivers like Manziel has had happened his first 6 quarters...who knows. This ungodly piece of shit won 3 Super Bowls and is a member of the HOF.
Case history number 5.
This guy is still playing and most...including me think he's the best that ever played the game at quarterback. But he should have been discarded after 6 quarters as well. His first season he completed only 57% throwing 28 picks versus only 26 TD's. How the Colts ever kept this guy is beyond me. Shouldn't have been on the roster after the 98 season.
The best thing to happen to you Johnn is that management acquiesces to the know it all Cleveland fan (sic) masses, and then you can rub it in our faces whenever it's your time to wreck the league.
