Chris Mortensen reporting tonight it will be McCown under center this week.

With that Pettine has lost the fan base. There was so much hope and optimism today on the radio with people excited about Johnny and wanting to ride with him, and now Pettine is just letting the air out of the balloon.

Pettine has just invited a full blown QB controversy into the city, and he going with the 36 year old journeyman is doing nothing for him long term. The guy just doesn't get it.

Every other team is playing their young QB's and letting them work through the growing pains, in Cleveland we get Mike Pettine strapping Johnny's ass to the bench after a win because not playing will help his development so much more than playing.

He will have no one to blame but himself when the crowd boos McCown out of the building after the first 3 and out or interception.
