It's been corrected. On ESPN's schedule site they did not have the last week posted...either on the Browns schedule nor the Steeler schedule. So yes, it was an ESPN typo...as I figured.Mulva;1723169 wrote:This could not possibly be a serious post.

Even if it was a typo, do you not know how NFL schedules work?

Go make fun of FW on another thread, this thread is for Browns discussion and Browns analysis.
Just last night I saw my ideas popping up in the Browns thread I am banned from a minute after I posted them in mine. I am providing a public service in this thread because lord knows the minor league Browns thread on this board is sorely lacking right now.
Stop cluttering up my thread.

ESPN omitted the last week on both the Browns and Steeler schedule. That is why I asked the question of it being a typo...dumbass. And yes...I know how the schedule works.

The fact you would even question whether or not it was a typo is mind boggling. Of course it was a typo. Obvious answer.Footwedge;1723435 wrote:This is what I wrote...

Was just listening to the Munch show and his butt buddy Casey called in. They had a 2 man whack session to the "Johnny can't play" crap. Based on what? 6 fuggin quarters? How did Bradshaw do his first year? Steve Young? Aikman. Eli...and the list goes on. But these know-it-alls say Johnny can't play...so it has to be true. Munch was further saying that Manziel needs to be cut because he has divided the team and divided the fans. No he hasn't. It's assholes like him that chair sports talk shows that divide the fanbase...not Johnny. They brought up douchebag Merryll Hoge (why Merryll's not in the HOF is a mystery given his Jerome Bettis like Steeler numbers) and said..." talent can judge talent." LOL. There are plenty of NFL gurus that still thank Manziel can be a stud in this league.
OIC do you have these kind of dick know-it-alls that have it all figured out after 6 quarters. And BTW. how many Browns quarterbacks in the history of their franchise drove the team 75 yards for a touchdown on their very first possession? Not too many.

GFY. I had good reason for questioning it. How many times does ESPN post wrong information on their web site? I was sure it was a typo until I lokked at the Steeler schedule. It was wrong in 2 spots.GoChiefs;1723437 wrote:The fact you would even question whether or not it was a typo is mind boggling. Of course it was a typo. Obvious answer.

How many football championships has Pitt won? How many has Ohio State won? Do your research before you shoot off your mouth.Al Bundy;1723255 wrote:He doesn't even understand how to read the standings.

Thinking of running a shuttle service to the 480 bridge for outraged Browns fans when Farmer pisses down his leg tonight like only he can do.

Best thing that could happen tonight would be Farmer trading a first round pick for a 1 year rental of Bradford, who probably won't make it to the regular season anyway. His agent has made it clear he doesn't want to be here, so Farmer moving a 1 for him will expedite his much needed firing so we can bring some grown ups into to clean up this romper room operation he and Pettine have been running.
No one in the NFL has done less with more than Ray freaking Farmer.

Good to know we're so deep talent wise we could afford to take a 2 down player with the 12th pick.
Farmer will remember these things when he is out of a job next year.

The defense will continue to be shitty next year, and at some point the light bulb will go off in Berea that it is because the offense can't stay on the field (because they have no playmakers) and the defense is gassed all the time.
Shelton changes none of that, but I wouldn't expect Ray Farmer to be able to see the forest through the trees anyway.

Mack is gone at the end of the year because we run a half ass organization, and now we spent a top 20 pick on a freaking center because of it.
He will almost certainly play out of position somewhere else just to get him on the field.
Poor Joe Thomas, this team will score about 7-10 points a game again with the defense just sucking wind by the 4th quarter.
2 top 19 picks and we come away with a 2 down nose guard and a center that will likely play RG.
You can't make this fucking stuff up, you'd think we've been ripping off titles for years drafting niche players and guys playing out of position.
Ray will be looking for a new job next year, and it can't come soon enough as it is enough of amateur hour on Lou Groza blvd.

Worst combination of QB/skill position players in the league and we are drafting lineman.
Farmer determined to show the league that you win a SB playing to scoreless ties every week.
We can't score. It means the defense is going to suck again no matter what because they get no help.
Ray Farmer's solution, pretend scoring points is optional and plan for his next job.
I am so fucking sick of 10-7 football on a weekly basis because we insist on trotting out High School level offensive talent.
Regime after regime makes the same fucking mistakes and the product continues to be unwatchable.

Why are you bitching, asshole? The drafting of the center pretty much guaranteed they are going to give your little bitch boy, Manziel a shot. They are surrounding him with protection (control the run/run the ball) because they know he isn't good enough to win with his arm.

All they did was draft replacements for Mack and Taylor. These were lateral moves as less than a year from now we will be coming off a 4-12/5-11 season with the same holes to fill.BR1986FB;1725881 wrote:Why are you bitching, asshole? Team still will have no playmakers and no ability to score points.
The rest of the league is going one direction and we are going the other.
This was a draft Mangini would be proud of. He is nodding in approval wherever he is right now as Ray Farmer is a disciple of his thinking you can build a winner around scoring 6-10 points a week.
