What good things were happening around you this past year?

Mine...

My son was recognized twice this year by the school board for his academic achievements.

My final year of coaching softball we were league champions

My XC team advanced to the regionals for the 3rd consecutive year

My daughter exceeded the necessary PCAT score and has pharmacy school interviews at Marshall and the University of Charleston

Bought a house. Baby 1 was born. Baby 2 is on its way (growing nicely). Wife and I are still happily employed.

4 month old daughter is well and thriving. 98th percentile for length. A lot of girls basketball games in my future someday :-(

lol. That really isn't a lot for an entire year. If you ever lived in athlete-only dorms in college 40 would easily be topped. Pretty much the same as the Olympic village, just not as good of athletes.

Still have the cutest puppy in the world.

My niece and nephew are too legit to quit, and the rest of the fam isn't bad, either.

Went on some fantastic trips - Chicago, Louisville, camping, etc.

Saw some great concerts.

Our house is finally starting to look like a normal home instead of a construction zone.

Had a great tailgate season with my best friends.
