Thoughts on Browns "possibly" trading for Rivers? Hearing would take 2 1sts. Not sure if both this years, or one this year, one next.

Would you guys make the move?

As long as it wasn't both 1's this year, I do it in a heartbeat, and even if it was this years, I'mpretty sure i'd do it.

In. A. Heartbeat. I'd send them both 1st's if they held out for them.

Rivers is still playing at a very high level and he's only 33. If they could get 3-5 years out of him, Hell yes.

Browns fans with their "precious" 1st rounders. WTF have the GM's done with the 1st rounders in the last 3-4 drafts? Pissed down their leg, that's what. I have no more confidence in Farmer than I do any of the previous GM's.

To me, this is like Shapiro & Antonetti with the Tribe. If you can't draft worth a shit, snag someone who CAN drafts' player via trade.

Rivers would make them an instant playoff contender. He completed 66% of his passes last year and has never thrown for less than 21 TD's.

If Farmer was willing to part with #19 for oft-injured Bradford, he sure as Hell should be willing to give more for a proven stud like Rivers.

These same words were spoken about Weeden lol.

Maybe one first round pick, I am not giving up 2 for rivers. There are only two players in the NFL I would give up 2 first round picks for, and rivers definitely isn't one of them. The guy doesn't want to move an hour away to LA, what makes anybody think he would re-sign in Cleveland?

Contract extension has to be agreed to prior to the trade.

Yeah, he doesn't want to move from San Diego to LA but if the Chargers relo, he's going to have to either move somewhere else or retire and sit at home with his 7 kids;

An added bonus, should this happen (frankly it's a pipedream), I bet Alex Mack would stay.

Crimson hit it on the head..."instant contenders." I, for one, can't stomach the thought of a season of Josh McCown.

Just a fwiw...and I have no idea why I am even following this guy, but he is at the release party thing...

@SC_Cleveland: The browns just flashed a blurred picture of the new jerseys.. They look sick trust me

@SC_Cleveland: Leaks are false. Confirmed

"Sick" as in "puke" or "sick" as in "sweet?"

This brought some lulz

@Reflog_18: The live Browns stream stopped, is forced to punt.

@SC_Cleveland: Leaks are definitely the cheap replica options to the jersey... Not the ones the players will wear. Similar to Lebron jerseys you can buy

@SC_Cleveland: At like a Walmart or a giant eagle

@treed1919: Asked what uniform he was looking forward to most, super fan Brownsformer says: "the uniform they wear when they win."

I am a huge fan. Looking forward to orange jersey/brown pants and brown jersey/orange pants combo. The all orange is legit too.

The orange will be ok. It's darker than I thought it would be.

You know the orange is good, if Br comes around to it.

The only thing I don't like is how noticeable the shadow numbering is on the brown jerseys. Other than that I'm cool with them. I figured the retail version would look shittier than the real thing.
