I can't fathom Manziel not getting starter snaps through 12 weeks of practices, no playing time and no connection to any of the receivers and being worth a shit. He would have the struggles of every young QB.

I get the "Hoyer isn't the answer to winning in the playoffs"....but getting near .500 was probably the next step from yearly 4-12's.

7-4 with Gordon back? I'm starting to see Browns gear being worn down here 40 miles from the southern point of the state.....I honestly have rarely seen that since the early 90's when the fans from the 80's were still proud enough to be wearing. (Not saying Browns fans are that way but in deep southern Ohio they are)

Yep. Obviously glad we got the win, but Hoyer hurt our chances of winning more than he helped today. That's not sustainable against good teams, we've just lucked out with our schedule so far.

Key word in your juiced out, mindless drivel
Yeah, "juiced out, mindless drivel." You're such a LITTLE internet p#ssy.

Nobody here can have varying opinions because they are "winning." They are very fucking lucky they didn't lose today because of Hoyer. Not because of the "team", because of Hoyer. He has been in a constant state of regression for the past few weeks.

Do I think they are going to yank him for Manziel with a 7-4 record? No, but they ARE winning in spite of him. The red zone gaffes where they have to settle for FG's when he can't hit the broad side of a barn are going to catch up to them when they play good teams.

I've been on the "you can't pull him because they are winning" bandwagon with Hoyer for the whole season. Today was enough for me to see he's not the guy. They should've had 4 more TD's and this should've been a laugher if not for his horrible misses and that dumbass pick in the end zone.

I haven't heard anyone say he is "the guy". I don't know why that keeps coming up.

I don't think "the guy" is currently on the roster.

Did we win the game or what? Everyone calm the fuck down, we are 7-4.

I think we all know Hoyer is what he is. It's such a stupid fucking weekly discussion.

Agreed. It's comical.

It's actually the best case scenario for Manziel. He'll get to come into a winning team and culture after being able to learn and not have a decimated offensive line....we hope.

A guy from Canada called into the Fox and Phelps postgame show and the caller was irritated with Hoyer's presser comments. Apparently a reporter asked Hoyer if he thought he might be benched next week and he replied "no chance". The caller said "how can he say that after such a horrible performance". to which the Hoyer knob slobbers went full meltdown mode with "10-4...10-4" and then gonged him.

To those people that actually want to see Hoyer again on the field....you must live a miserable life.

True we won, but Hoyer is terrible. He is the most inaccurate QB on the run, and his #1 trait has been not turning the ball over. When he starts to even do that, I think its time to think about sitting him. I now feel the same way about Hoyer that I did about DA. Never comfortable with him behind center, even though we're winning. Don't want a bungals game repeat like in 07.

It's not a good scenario for Manziel and more importantly, the Browns...AND..the fans. They have a chance to not only make the playoffs but make noise once they get there. But not with this quarterback.

And...I'm a little sick and tired of this crap that "all rookies struggle". in the NFL. Cuz...they don't.

It's the best scenario for Manziel. The alternate scenario was the team having a losing season. He would still be holding the clipboard. He's not the starter. Winning is better for him than losing.

You might be sick of the "all rookies struggle" crap but it has never come from me and isn't necessarily the reason the Brown's rookie QB isn't starting.

Not to mention a full year of being in the film room with coaches and watching and hopefully learning from their critique of Hoyer.

The reason why Hoyer is starting s a simple one. Kojak is a stubborn mule...it's that simple. It's no secret that Kojak has a love affliction with him....thus the letter he wrote him last year when Hoyer got hurt against Buffalo.

Let me reminf you...Manzel outplayed Hoyer in every preseason game this year. All of them.

I don't understand why everyone is getting their panties in a twist. Hoyer or Manziel it doesn't really matter. The Browns will win one maybe two more games.
