Shit.
I don't like that matchup.
Bama will dominate the crowd.
I wanted the Rose Bowl for tradition.

I would rather play Bama first than Oregon. Oregon offense is very, very good. Realize we may have to eventually play them. Rather do it in title game. And, Meyer knows Bama/Saban very well obviously.ptown_trojans_1;1683470 wrote:Shit.

News flash for the CFP rankings going forward.
DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO THEM UNTIL SELECTION SUNDAY.
Joey Galloway is beating a dead horse, but he's got a point.

They were on record saying winning a championship game will factor in. Not only that but OSU had a tougher SoS, and more impressive scoring margin. There is a poll in the chat on ESPN about who should have been 4th, OSU is winning that in a landslide.
The committee got it right as far as OSU/TCU/Baylor.

I doubt Alabama dominates the crowd. OSU has a bigger and wealthier alumni base

It's Bama. The only fanbase that rivals OSU in crazy people. And, it is closer.Classyposter58;1683486 wrote:I doubt Alabama dominates the crowd. OSU has a bigger and wealthier alumni base

OSU played a tougher schedule and had more impressive wins, and won the conference championship game... all factors in who is better.

1. The Big 12 needs to add two more teams and do a conference championship.Automatik;1683490 wrote:Big 12 butthurt is strong right now. I fucking love it.
2. Despite the VT loss OSU's OOC schedule was definitely stronger than TCU or Baylor.
Let 'em bitch!

At the end of the day the Big 12 fucked themselves. I expect conference invites to be sent out first thing tomorrow morning and their title game to come back.Fly4Fun;1683494 wrote:I love all the excuses and crying.

20% of their conference shared the title. That's not gonna work moving forward.

I think I speak for all Buckeye fans when I say "Kiss our Collective Asses."IggyPride00;1683214 wrote:They are going to move to 8 teams in the near future I suspect.
8 is the perfect number as it gets you the 5 conference champs and then 3 at larges.
When you have 5 power conferences and 4 slots this is going to continue to be a problem.
The Big 10 president should be leading the charge to expand to 8 because as the worst of the power 5 conferences they are likely to keep being left out unless they expand the number.

Baylor won the Big 12 though. The conference commissioner should be fired for what he did

Ultimately they screwed themselves by their little political move where they said that there could be two true champions.Automatik;1683498 wrote:At the end of the day the Big 12 fucked themselves. I agree with putting OSU in. But I don't understand why the committee put TCU 3rd last week and then dropped them for winning. They knew all these factors when they did that. I think the committee created unnecessary drama.

It's not unnecessary drama. They rank by week to week. This isn't the BCS where a September loss haunts you in December. Last week they felt TCU was 3rd best. Not this week.WebFire;1683512 wrote:I agree with putting OSU in. But I don't understand why the committee put TCU 3rd last week and then dropped them for winning. Right, but then dropped them for winning a game by 52. How can you feel someone is 3rd and then drop them for winning huge? I would have put OSU in knowing the had a CCG to play, and if they lost, put TCU in for them knowing they aren't playing a CCG.SportsAndLady;1683517 wrote:It's not unnecessary drama. Guess it doesn't matter, I think the right teams are in at the end.
