The Big Thugger throws 4 INTs and somehow Thugger State pulls another one out of their ass.

Oh the what if games are becoming legitimate. C'mon fucking Auburn, keep dominating.

WHAT IF....

Auburn hangs on and wins

OSU defeats Wisconsin
Bama beat Missouri
Baylor beats KSU
TCU beats Iowa St

AND Arizona beats Oregon for a 2nd time???

I'd go:

1. FSU
2. TCU
3. OSU
4. Arizona over Baylor, Oregon and Bama

FSU is in with a Bama loss

Couple more chances to get in. G Tech wins...(would not be surprised if Tech is favored here given FSU was a paltry 7 point favorite at home against a putrid Florida team), Arizona completes the sweep against Oregon, (unlikely), or Iowa State shocks the world against TCU (highly unlikely. If Mizzoo beats Bama, Mizzoo goes ahead of OSU. There I said it. The SEC lobby s a strong mumma bear...and the SEC winner goes no matter what their record is.

Jones looked really good the only time I watched him play, but my guess would be that the Badgers will be favored next week. Melvern Gordon reminds me a lot of Chris Johnson when he was a stud a few years ago with the Titans. I don't know how we stop him.

With the ACC sweep over the SEC today, 4-0, the media needs to learn a lesson about prejudging conferences. At one time there was 5 SEC teams in the top 10. That shit needs to stop. The best conference is the PAC 10, IMHO.

Unfortunately JT Barrett is THE reason Ohio State is (was) in the playoff hunt. With Barrett out, even the B1G championship is in serious doubt.

While I think the Buckeyes still have the horses to beat Wisky, I just don't think the committee will want a "watered down" version of Ohio State in the first playoff mix.

It's truly unfortunate and unfair to the team especially the seniors. This whole situation has put me in looping face palm mode.

Let's assume the Buckeyes can still beat Wisconsin without Barrett for a moment (...and I think they can by the way). Some crazy shit has to happen next Saturday in addition to a Buckeye victory for the committee to give Ohio State a playoff slot.

Arizona has to beat Oregon, Georgia Tech has to beat FSU, Kansas State has to beat Baylor, Iowa State has to upset TCU (riiiiight), and it would help if Missouri beat Alabama.

A B1G championship and a trip to the Cotton or Fiesta Bowl would be the best the Buckeyes can hope for at this point.

I think OSU is in so long as they beat Wisky. We do that and the committee puts us ahead of TCU.

I honestly hope you guys are right.

Let's say your optimistic outlook rings true and the Buckeyes land a playoff spot. Do you think Ohio State with Jones under center will be able to compete with any of the other Top 4? Just asking.

In my humble opinion the $4 Million Super Coach is going to have to earn his paycheck this week. Meyer is going to have to have Jones ready to step up and he needs to improvise a new offensive scheme to keep Wisky - at least - guessing.

Jones is a good athlete and certainly capable but in all fairness to him and the O-line, it's going to take a near-miracle at this late stage of the season plus a gargantuan effort by the Buckeye offense to get the job done....or at least enough to impress the committee into believing that - YES - Ohio State is really that deep at the QB position.

IMO, FSU is the only team we can compete with. Bama or Oregon would roll us.

If OSU wins on Saturday, and that seems to me like a 50/50 chance, then we can talk about playoffs.
Though TCU is making a strong case for that final spot.
I could easily see some more chaos this weekend.
I really like KState over Baylor, and GT could make FSU's luck run out.

My top 15 after this week.
1. Bama
2. Oregon
3. FSU
4. TCU
5. OSU
6. Baylor
7. Mich St.
8. Arizona
9. Miss St.
10. Wisconsin
11. KState
12. Mizzou
13. GT
14. Georgia
15. UCLA

How can Mich St be above Arizona? Mich St has no wins over anyone in the top 25 and lost at Oregon by 19. Arizona won at Oregon, won at Utah by 31 and beat Arizona St. Mich St has losses to better teams but by 19 and at home by 12. Arizona lost at home to borderline top 25 USC by 2 and at UCLA by 10.
