I'm a Lakers fan who grew up in Ohio rooting for OSU but for football only and root for UNC in basketball.

Cavs lose by 5 tonight btw.
No thanks on the thread ban. Thread bans are reserved for complete ass clowns like Footwedge and poor people.

Pau isn't the Pau of 6 years ago when he was putting Kobe on his back winning championships. He blows if you make him actually go to the hoop rather than the little free throw line jumper that he likes to hit. Put TT's left arm on him and call it a day.

I've reffed for 2 years in basketball. Once the ball is thrown, you just call the game (reffed my alma mater and my dad's games a few times). Now, if you have a conscious alterior motive, that different. But fandom would not really come into play. Hell, often I would forget what team was what (winning, foul counts etc). You really just call what you see.

It was weird though, I found myself a few times giving the best player "star treatment". Just natural to find something you like about someone's game when your a fan of the game. It was strange. Never let it get past a call early though. Always caught myself and corrected my thinking.

Was listening to shitforbrains Kevin Kylie with his new side kick, Ken Carman today. Kylie is rich. Says the Cavs should go after Rose and deliberately rough up his shoulder. Is it any wonder that Kylie was a Brady apologist regarding cheating?

People like him should be in prison.

The Cavs should target Rose, and his gimpy shoulder. Same with Pau and his hamstring.

Nothing malicious, but hard screens on Rose, and playoff fouls when he drives. And have TT, or Mozzy (whichever Pau is guarding) non stop moving, screening and rolling, then coming back to screen again, etc.

I don't care where Crawford is from...I care that he sucks.

Agree it's not hard ref without bias

The best part of Noah running his mouth, is that he's by far, the worst "starter" in this series, but always finds himself spouting off.

If the Cavs win, LeBron should hook him with ECF tickets so he can come back to Cleveland.

More fuel to the fire, I found this gem on RCF lol:

"Marc Davis is officiating tonight. Chicago, born and bred. Home team wins 80% of the games when he's the Ref too. NBA wants a 7th game for sure."

Unless basketball reference is wrong, which it isn't, home teams are .500 on the season with him as a ref.

More fuel to the fire:

"I have always been a huge fan of the Bulls growing up, how can you not be? Sometimes I have to remind myself to set the fandom aside when I am out there officiating."

Direct quote from Marc Davis.
