I see lebron reverting to the Lebron we saw the first 4 games.

I think Cleveland wins handily. Chicago had their chance before LeBron crushed them at the buzzer.

A win tonight is huge for the Cavs, as I don't see Atlanta taking out Washington on their home court, and that would give us a few extra days to rest up Kyrie and get treatment. Health is often one of the biggest determining factors in winning the NBA finals, so we need these guys as close to 100% as possible. Let's finish the job tonight, so we can relax over the next few days.

I don't see how anyone can feel any sort of confidence predicting what will happen in that series lol.

There are always writers looking to take subtle "digs" at Cleveland that that's kind of how I saw that piece.

if you look at this team and even compare it to 2009, you're an idiot. That's why you write articles for Yahoo.

Does that series not scream "SEVEN GAMES" to you?

Agreed. The team in 2009 is in no way remotely close to this team. For this to be "comparable," we would be comparing JR Smith to Boobie Gibson (29 yrs old, been out of the league for 2 years, averaged about half of JR Smith's production for his career), Iman Shumpert to Anthony Parker (just LOL), Kevin Love to Antawn Jamison (probably one of the closer comparisons, but Love is still a superior talent by far, IMO), Kyrie to Mo Will (just stop it), etc.

The dude just wants clicks, and trashing Cleveland is the way to accomplish that these days. I've read "Ball Don't Lie" before, but I can't say I've ever even noticed that guy writing the piece lol.

That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying I couldn't make the statement you made because I don't feel any certainty about anything in that series. That includes it going to 7 games.

2 of tonight's refs are from Chicago. Seems fair/legit

Chicago’s own, referee Danny Crawford will be at the helm tonight for the Cavs/Bulls game.
NBA ref, Marc Davis, is the 2nd for the Cavs/Bulls game tonight…..he hails from, Chicago, Illinois

How is that even within the rules? It should be forbidden... even if tenure is extensive, that doesn't seem right at all.

Not sure what to think about refs officiating playoff games from where they are from. On one hand, I'm sure it doesn't effect 99.9% of the refs, on the other hand...if I'm the NBA and within the last decade I had a rogue ref get nailed for fixing games, I'd be real careful about who I'd assign to what games.

This is pretty much what I wanted to say. I don't think it will affect the game considering how generally bad the refs have been throughout the playoffs, but anything creating the appearance of impropriety is going to get way more run on twitter/in hot taeks.

It's not a conspiracy theory. It's strange the NBA would allow a referee, who can influence the game one way or the other, to be from the city that one of the team's plays in. If you grew up in Chicago, and are a basketball fan (if you become an NBA ref it's fair to say you probably liked basketball growing up), there's a very high probability that you are a Bulls fan. So we are cool with bulls fans to ref bulls games?

Jason Phillips is from Texas. He's doing the Rockets/Clips game. Got a problem with that?
