I gotta admit, it was nice seeing Love be "The Man" last night having the offense run through him was nice to see. Obviously with LBJ and KI he likely won't be the guy. But would it hurt, to let him get in the low block, and let the offense run through him a little bit more.

IMO he'll never ever be the top point guard because he's more scorer than facilitator. You can't be the best point guard without being an elite facilitator, which is why Lebron is a better "point guard" than Kyrie.
Kyrie could become a top 10, top 5 player but he can never be the best point guard because he's a positionless scorer.
I would take John Wall over Kyrie as a point guard but not as a basketball player. It might seem like semantics to you or others, but when comparing players by position and not in general you need to look at their position-specific traits (which is why Lebron is arguably the best player by position at the 1, 2, 3 and 4).

Because he doesn't lol. He's not a facilitator like CP3 or Wall but he's a better scorer than those guys. This is not a comparison of playing styles but rather a comparison of their positionless-ness: Irving reminds me of Harden. You could classify Harden as a shooting guard but he's too much a facilitator within the offense to be considered a classic 2. I understand your position. I just don't think a shooting guard has to be considered positionless just because he's multidimensional.

Agreed. Calling harden position less BC he gets ast is like calling love position less bc he shoots 3s, or kawhi position less bc he gets steals. What cracks me up is that an SB Nation feed came up on my FB wall about the Celtics and their "amazing head coach." Read some of the comments from Celts fans about how they were going to "take care of Cleveland because of their storied history" and that "Isiah Thomas is better than Kyrie Irving." Bingo. I was looking at the comments and just shaking my head. Yeah, there's a remote chance the Cavs could gag and lose that series but the guys posting on there made it sound like they were scrubs. One cat said "they only got 53 wins. With that roster they should've had more wins than Golden State." If the Cavs lose a game against Boston I'd be worried. They aren't though. The games won't even be close.
