I say Rest LBJ the next 2 games.

Then I would rest, KI/Love against Pistons. Then give your starters roughly 15-20 minutes on the season Finale against Washington.

I mean, if we shoot the ball poorly from three, there's a good chance we lose. That's a huge part of our offense and what opens things up for LeBron and Kyrie in the lane. Anyways, we should move on from this. The Cavs are the best team in the East. Let's just hope they play like it so they can rest after game 4 while the other teams in the conference battle for 6 or 7 games.
Alright, but I'm expecting a sweep. A long tail upset event can always happen(see Orlando vs. Cavs 2009) where a team gets hot at the right time and comes off and breaks NBA records to win a series.

I don't understand the "nothing to play for" being bantered around. Does home court mean something in the finals? Would rather play game 7 against the West champion at home. Right now the Cavs trail San Antonio by one game in the loss column and I don't know who owns the tiebreaker as each team won a nail biter on the road this year. Neck and and neck with the Clippers and the Blazers too. Nobody knws who will come out of there.

If LeBron wants to sit out the next 2 games well fine. The rest of the starters need to go full throttle. They need to keep winning.

So you want to play the starters on the hope that the #7 or #8 seed will win the West?

San Antomio is the 7 or 8 seed out there? Read a newspaper once in awhile.

Sorry. It makes a lot more sense since they are the 6 seed. :)

Yeah, I'm a little older but my first thoughts were "that's not gonna fly with this crowd."

The Cavs have an opportunity to be the team with the 3rd best record in the NBA. Not sure why we wouldn't try for that.

Rather be fresh than worry about the West.

Yesterday was the one and only day I was pulling for the heat to win. They choked on a big one last night though. They were in the process of blowing chicago out, and then they got out scored 33-8 on the 3rd.

If Chicago and Toronto both finish with the same record then the 3 seed goes to Toronto. They both have pretty easy schedules to end the year.

I'd rather rest my star players and guarantee no chance of a crushing injury than go for the opportunity of 1 more home game, which would be a long shot at best.

The Cavs are 1.5 games behind the Clippers and Spurs with 3 games remaining for those teams and 2 games behind the Grizzlies and Rockets with 4 games left for them and the Cavs.

The Rockets play the Spurs and the Grizzlies play the Clippers and the Warriors.

It's highly improbable we'd jump even 2 of those teams, let alone all 4. I'm not even sure we'll jump one of them but with the Grizzlies' remaining schedule and the Rockets playing the Spurs I suppose jumping one of them is reasonable to think.

All I want is a Cavs championship. Don't care who is there from the west.

Amen. One of these Cleveland teams needs to end this drought.

I'd prefer to beat the Warriors as Curry is the likely MVP this year. Lebron James > Curry and its not even close. Honestly, I would take a Lebron with 1 arm over Curry any day of the week.

I think this will be lebrons last game of the regular season. Probably wants to feel out the celtics one more time if they play them in the first round.

I think Lebron could sit the entire series against the Celtics and they would still win it.

They are not the 6 seed right now. Portland is...by 2 full games. SA is tied for the 3rd seed.

I'll remember this post when the Cavs play game 7 in SA or LA. These people make a lot of money and they only work about 7 frickin hours per week. Oh woe is me...let's coddle the multi millionaires.

Except they're the 6th seed currently. I don't know the NBA tie breakers, but as things stand right now they are the 6th seed.

I know playoff scenarios aren't your strong point, but Portland is a higher seed because they are in first in their division. The Spurs are currently the 6th seed.
