Yes it was good to hear the cascade of boos reigning down on Hoyer's piss parade. There are gonna be the Hoyer nad nuzzlers forever, but my guess is that over 60% of the fans have seen enough of the garbage...week in and week out.
I can't even imagine how good this offense would be with Shanahan springing open receivers the way he does with a smarter, much more mobile quarterback. Kojak is cheating the season ticket holders, especially the 12,000 people that ponied up after Manziel was drafted.

The playcalling becomes much more limited with Manziel in there because he has struggled to learn the offense. If they lose a few games, I could see making the change, but why throw away the season now?Footwedge;1670265 wrote: I can't even imagine how good this offense would be with Shanahan springing open receivers

Throw away the season? Why, why, Johnny Manziel is the greatest QB to ever lace a pair of cleats. They'd be 8-0, winning by no less than 20 points per game, with the Almight Johnny under center! Didn't you get the memo? :rolleyes:Al Bundy;1670278 wrote:If they lose a few games, I could see making the change, but why throw away the season now?

LOL @ the skateboard comment....
WINN'S WIN: Browns defensive end Billy Winn made the most of his first game back in several weeks. Winn blocked a field goal in the first quarter by placing his hands on two Tampa Bay lineman and leaping over them.
"I landed on both feet," said Winn, who had never blocked a kick before. "It's one of my old skateboard moves."

And I've noticed something else recently. Apparently, it's no longer good enough for this team to just win games (for some fans). They have to do it with "style points" or some aren't happy. Since 1999 this town has just hoped for "wins." Now, if they don't look good doing it, it's not a "win" for some. Assholes....

Great time. No better way to spend a Sunday imo. Also Browns fans were not booing Hoyer.Ironman92;1670289 wrote:like_that.....good time?

I am surprised Iggy and Failwedge aren't pissed at West. If West doesn't get that amazing blitz pick up block Hoyer is probably out of the game. That hit would have been viscious.
Iggy and Fail, along with the idiot Boom on 92.3, would have been creaming their pants for their lord and savior to be in the game.

That didn't actually happen. There was a car fire, and yes it was a Steelers fan's car...but it was a girl and someone in her own group dumped their coals out too close to the car and it caught fire.GoChiefs;1669048 wrote:Maybe its just me, but I fail to see the humor in that.

Yes indeed jfog, West saved Hoyer from a booming hit. Another bullet dodged for the luckiest quarterback in the history of NFL football. Don't know if Hoyer gets hurt, just that he fumbles, and the ball gets scooped and maybe to the house the other way. And with that, the failed experiment would be over and the franchise quarterback would be in....because Hoyer would have been 1-2 against the 3 worst teams in football.jmog;1670317 wrote:I am surprised Iggy and Failwedge aren't pissed at West. The franchise is ill, and the doctor is prescribing Percocet instead of chemotherapy.

No worries. We were parked very close to it and several of us did not go into the game...so we saw what happened.shook_17;1670362 wrote:ahhh gotcha. My fault, I asked them what happen and that's what her and the friends told me

Hoyer is the first Browns QB to throw for 200+ yards in each of team's first 8 games since Brian Sipe in '83. That's kind of sad actually.

Incredibly sad. What's even worse is Manziel would've thrown for 400 each game marking an nfl record to start a career.Con_Alma;1670365 wrote:Hoyer is the first Browns QB to throw for 200+ yards in each of team's first 8 games since Brian Sipe in '83. That's kind of sad actually.

That maybe be true but he's not good enough to convince the person who decides he should be a starter to put him in the game. Maybe Johnny should work on that.DeyDurkie5;1670377 wrote:Incredibly sad. not at all.
I try and respond to sarcasm with truthfulness as opposed to playing into it.

BTW, I know the Browns defense has being doing better, but they were pretty lucky that Glennon was QB. He is terrible.
