Yep. Never saw so many uncalled helmet to helmets. And on the play Gilbert got injured and a holding call, Cousins' had a false start that went uncalled. Should've been offsetting penalties.Commander of Awesome;1670077 wrote:Worst officiating I've seen all season though. Better be some fines coming to buccaneers this week

Tons of holding not called, which I'm ok with long as they're equal which I think they were today. That false start though was ridiculous. Haden def had an INT on that play and I think they fucked up the review on the Dray catch. Looked pretty damn good to me, but I'm biased.BR1986FB;1670093 wrote:Yep. There's just no way there's not a better center option out there than McDonald.

True....I looked at it 2-3 weeks ago and looked a lot tougher, but Cincy/Indy/Baltimore/Carolina aren't perceived to be as good as they were a few weeks ago. I'd rather you fuckers not win 10 games.SportsAndLady;1670104 wrote:@cinci

All very winnable games. I think we end up with 9 wins but will need 10 for a WC.SportsAndLady;1670104 wrote:@cinci

Likely need 10 but I expect all the 5-3 teams (most anyways) to not be great and 9-7 might make it.Rotinaj;1670113 wrote:All very winnable games. I think we end up with 9 wins but will need 10 for a WC.

I detest Brian Hoyer, and his being the luckiest QB in the NFL is giving him a free pass in this city he doesn't deserve.
We are winning in spite of him, not because of him.
I keep waiting for the exposure to become so glaring that even his biggest defenders can't ignore it anymore.
If he was half as good as he thinks he is he'd be a hall of fame QB.

It sucks to be half a game out in November. Doesn't it? While Hoyer may not be Brady or Manning, it is better to play him than just throw away the season.IggyPride00;1670131 wrote:I detest Brian Hoyer, and his being the luckiest QB in the NFL is giving him a free pass in this city he doesn't deserve.

Agreed. He's not a top 5 QB. He's not the QB of the future. He is the QB of this team today and is on pace to throw for 4,000 yards 20 TD's and 8 Int's.Al Bundy;1670132 wrote:It sucks to be half a game out in November. Doesn't it? I just think it's ironic that iggy loved the weeden pick. Remember his "there is so much excitement in Cleveland knowing that we have trich and weeden to lead this offense" post? Further proof that he really has no idea what the city of Cleveland wants or knows how the fans are thinking. Just trolls to get a reaction.

Things maybe are starting to turn.
Over on the OBR there is alot of QQing about the fans booing Hoyer today.
The Hoyer supporters getting defensive and realizing that the city is starting to be on to the jig is a good sign, because it means people see that we are winning in spite of him instead of because of him.
He is a cancer and a pox on this city, and the sooner that the tumor that is he and his supporters are removed from this city the better. Let them go infect another city with mediocre play and a bad attitude.
He is the walking embodiment of the adage it is better to be lucky than good.

I do thank God he doesn't have a contract currently to play on this team next year. He thankfully has been exposed enough that any talk of franchising him for a year has ended, and I do think that even his biggest supporters in the front office see that this team is winning in spite and not because of him. That will help make the move to Johnny that much easier.Con_Alma;1670149 wrote:It won't be any earlier than after this season ends.
Not to mention that he is incredibly arrogant and is going to ask for a big contract thinking he's an NFL starter only to find a market like that of a Fitzpatrick when the Browns pass on him at high dollars.

He had 300 yards today and won the game. FFS STFU Iggy. If he loses the job to Manziel at some point, FINE, that means Manziel took it, but it's not because Hoyer has been bad. He's been fine. We're 5-3 after winning 4 games all of last year. Can't you just be happy?
