In addition to that, the 76ers also got a 1st round pick, and right to swap 1sts in 2 future drafts

Kings basically show it's not impossible to move terrible contracts. You just gotta give up a lot to do it. Nice trade for Philly who essentially just uses cap space they probably were just going to "fill" anyways.

Back then, Pau was essentially the #2 to his #1; you could compare it to the Pippen to Jordan dynamic on a lesser level. That was good back then. Being the Gasol to today's Bryant isn't anything for a name player to be excited about, as he'll be 37 and entering his 20th season when the season starts and hasn't played much in a couple years.
