Anyone know where I could find cheap tickets for Sunday? I'm traveling from pa this weekend to visit my dad at the brain trama rehab center near the stadium. since he was in a bad motorcycle accident last week. Depending on his visiting hours might try and head over to the game for a little bit

Sorry to hear about your dad. Hope he makes a full recovery.

As far as "cheap" tickets? Good luck. With the Browns actually fielding something that resembles a football team, I've heard tix aren't cheap. My buddy said he could sell his for $500.

Damn. Might have to deal with scalpers and get them after kick off or something.

Don't take that as gospel. Just one dudes opinion. I'd try the usual spots (Stubhub, etc) to see if you can snag some cheap.

Stubhub is looking pretty expensive. The steelers game is always the most expensive game.

With all the good that is going on in Cleveland lately, no way are you going to find a cheap ticket to a Browns steelers game with the Browns actually doing relatively well.

Gonna have to fork out the dough.

Like I said before, don't give me shit about how steelers fans "travel" well. Those redneck yinzers can't afford to travel to all these games. They just have a bunch of bandwagon fans. If the steelers keep up with these .500 seasons, I bet they won't be as well "traveled" as some dumbass announcer will claim.

If you read the piece, what cracked me up was when the author was talking to the bandwagoner on the phone and the guy said "my Steelers" and the author said "you from PA?" to which the guy says "no, North Carolina." LOL

Ryan Ruiz is my new favorite writer!

I am going to put one of his "tips" to good use.

(Steeler crap at stores accidentally knocked off the shelf!) ;-)

Funny, but I was thinking the same thing. I stop off at the Giant Eagle in Ravenna on my way home and there's a huge display of Yinzer crap at the front of the store. Same in Salem. Apparently someone forgot this is Northeast O-H-I-O

Cheapest tix usually are from scalpers at the stadium.
We have scalped many a ticket in the day and when we did we always looked on ebay/stubhub and such to see what people are asking and when you get there if you do your diligence and walk around you can find them cheaper, it is just that most people want to have ticket in hand before they go and I understand that.
We sell a number of our steelers tix on ebay. Just not feasible to drive 600+ miles for each game and usually the best bang for our buck is selling on ebay.

You may get lucky and it be kind of a shitty day, but if it is a nice day it will drive up prices. This will probably be the highest ticket price in years for this matchup because browns fans are expecting to win and steelers fans travel well.

If you're going to just "check out" the game, I would recommend waiting until post-kickoff.

Aren't you a Bengals fan? Don't you hate the Steelers too? Or has the bottle of Popov you've already downed today messing with your few remaining brain cells?

A Bengals fan who roots for the Steelers against the Browns, when you know most Browns fans would root for the Bengals over the Steelers, is a weak ass mofo.....Apparently, someone missed the "Palmer getting Kimo'd" memo.

Finally found where my seats are. Club section, 50 yard line, row 2, browns side. Most expensive section in the stadium. I never get good seats so I have to brag a little. Should be awesome. I guess I need to contain my drinking so I don't annoy all of these higher ups, dang. Can't wait to feel the atmosphere in there this weekend, should be awesome.

And wr, I can't wait to see how good Hawkins as Gabriel are with Gordon drawing double coverage.

May be the best seats in the house. I have sat 50 yard line, first row club, a couple of times in pittsburgh and man there is nothing like it. Much better than in the lower bowl. Think the face on those in pitt are around $250.

If I was a Bengals fan I would never forgive what happened and I would definitely hate the Steelers more. That's how all of my Bengals' friends are. It's quite clear that Tiernan isn't a real Bengals fan.

I thought it was pretty obvious tiernan was a "fan" of the bengals because of where they currently were in the standings.
