After the hospital in Dallas screwed the pooch with handling case #1, I'm betting there's going to be an increase in being thorough. Would you not do the same?

As I understand it, it's not contagious during the incubation period, which is apparently the period after contracting it, but prior to showing symptoms. I would suppose, in theory, that if the incubation period was just ended, she still might not show symptoms the absolute second that happens. I presume that's something of a sliding scale.

I am curious, though, why she thought flying was okay after she'd just been treating a man with ebola. To me, it doesn't seem wise to travel less than 21 days after being exposed to someone with it, even if they assume that all precautions were taken.

No, they're saying it won't spread here because the proper procedures will be followed. No expert has said in effect, "don't worry about it" as you suggest.

2 nurses who were in direct contact with a dying Ebola patient are infected and everyone is freaking out b/c she was in Ohio.. Not to mention that Thomas Duncan flew over her 4 weeks ago and no one on his flight has Ebola.
