Well if there's no longer value in having season tickets then I don't know why you would still get them
I realize I'm being combative but forgive me for not being empathetic towards your guys' cause when I/my family faced the same issues and acted on them instead of complaining about them.
I'll keep that in mind NEXT year...but for this year, they are renewed. Hence, my note that another STH exclusive item was removed. While this particular item is not that important to me, I posted the one that was.
I did mention this to the Indians in their STH surveys....and I will note whether they make some changes. Whether they do or not will weigh in my decision next year.

In the meantime, lighten up.

ok how about some actual baseball talk?

http://www.cleveland.com/pluto/index.ssf/2015/02/terrys_talkin_about_the_clevel_44.html

Still not a fan of Salazar in the starting rotation. he tends to serve up meatballs the second and third time through the order. Not sure who they have in the bullpen this year.

I think the back end is pretty well set. Tribe probably in the market for some match up guys.

Lets hope Cody Allen can keep it locked down. Salazar could be a nice set up man. you'd go from a starter throwing 90-95mph and just when they have him timed up, in comes Salazar throwing 95-100mph.

Just took a look at the schedule. Looks like I have to wait until August this year to see them play in Anaheim. Unless I make the trek out to Arizona for some spring training games.

Article on Gavin Floyd. He is impressing early in camp. Talks of him being the 2 to keep the pressure of the young guys.

http://m.indians.mlb.com/news/article/110016522/right-hander-gavin-floyd-making-strong-first-impression-on-indians

Of course the Tribe signed him to a one year deal, so if it does work out for him, he will walk after the year.

The Dodgers just signed Brandon Beachy to a one year deal with a club option for 2016. Why can't we put these type of deals together?

Because no agent or player is going to agree to give the Indians a club option. The Indians aren't the Dodgers. Just get used to us being a vehicle to rehabilitate careers.

I'm okay with it. I'd rather have a new project every year than potentially overpay for someone who we just re-built and could fall back off the wagon.

Tribe announced $13 tickets in the new 2 level bar in right field "District". They are considered SRO tickets. Includes your first drink (12oz beer, pop or water).

Seems fun. If I lived or worked downtown, I think I would be take advantage of this.

Well.....first Spring Training game today versus the Reds. Regular season is just a stones throw away. I'm fairly optimistic about this group if the pitching produces like they're capable.

I'm fairly optimistic as well. Nobody in the division did anything major that should shift the landscape. Royals are pretty much the same bunch minus Shields. Tigers lost Scherzer and are dealing with injuries already. I think the White Sox will be better than last year. I don't see a 95+ win team in the bunch that is going to run away and hide this season.

I have the Tribe winning the division with 91 wins.

I'll hopefully see around 7 or 8 Tribe games. I'm more interested in seeing the Cubs because of their prospects and their stadium being 10 minutes from my place as opposed to 40 for the Indians.

I am cautiously optimistic. There is buzz around this team, but not too much buzz. I believe in Francona.

I did see on Grantland, Jonah Keri ranked them as #5 in the bigs entering this year. Mainly cited that besides Kluber, they have three other breakout candidates on their pitching staff (Carrasco, Salazar and someone else, I think) and that a few guys who gave below-replacement numbers are, at the least, going to have reduced roles this year.

Haha don't know why I put Eddie. I hope House picks up where he left off last season, though.

Its hard for me to expect the starting pitching to continue at the same level it was in the 2nd half last year.

On paper, I still see this as a .500 team that Tito might milk 6-8 extra wins out of.

Just read that article. He is pretty optimistic about the Tribe. He is also operating under the assumption that Kipnis' season last year was a fluke and that Bourn and Swisher will bounce back. If that does happen, the Indians will be very good but those are huge question marks.

I'm pretty optimistic about this team....and the thing I like most about it is the depth of the pitching staff. If any starter should falter or get injured there are guys to pick them up.

I'm more worried on the offensive side of the ball where we are counting on a lot guys staying healthy and/or rebounding from injuries. Bourn has had a history of hamstring problems, and we'll have to be careful with pushing Moss and Swisher. Brantley has had some early back problems. We are also counting on Kipnis regaining form, and Chisenhall to continue to improve on both sides of the ball. All in all...a lot of if's.

As far as the division goes, I see the Tribe in the mix as long as the pitching holds true, as long as the offense can provide at least a little bit.

The team I'm most worried about as a wild card in the division, is the Chi Sox, who had a very productive off season. Building on last year's improvement, they may be a real headache for us.
I see the Royals and Tigers as having regresssed slightly, but I think the Tigers may be on the brink of a colossal fail of a season.

Here's my current call for AL race...The Tribe, Royals and White Sox are in a season long battle with the Tigers only beating out the improved, but still lowly, Twins.

Tribe got hammered by the Reds today in the first Cactus League game of the season, 10-0.
Zac Mac got the start... gave up 1 run in 2 inn. and was tagged with the loss. The rest of the runs surrendered were by guys I've not heard of. ;)

Offensively the Tribe managed only 4 hits...one by Aviles and Jose Ramirez. Hood and Naquin added 1 hit apiece for the "non- regulars".
