Pretty sure the best offense of the Tribe season was when Santana was cleanup and Gomes moved to 5th.

I believe you and Santana lives on the bases and has to be in the upper portion of the lineup and Gomes seems so clutch. I would like Brantley between them somehow but also would not want one of them clogging the bases if he wanted/needed a steal. I agree your lineup is best after further review.

Tribe has signed Bruce Chen to a minor league deal.....one of those resurrect an injured pitcher/lightning in a bottle type deals...except that Chen was never a top shelf pitcher to begin with.

Tribe also being named as a suitor for Dayan Viciedo.
With Moss and Swisher's everyday status unclear, Viciedo could provide enough pop to be a DH/part time RF if one or both Swish or Moss is unable to start the season.

Viciedo really struggled the last several months of last year. He has pop but that .281 OB% is alarming

^^^personally, I think the Tribe has enough options in Murphy, Holt, Ramsey and Walters.

Surprisingly, I think the Tribe will be alright offensively. I'm actually more concerned about their starting rotation. After Kluber, it's a crapshoot imo. Will Carrasco keep making strides or revert to his old self? Does Gavin Floyd have anything left? Will it finally "click" for Salazar & Bauer?

I think the potential is definitely there but for as good as these guys CAN be, they could also be just as bad.

Apparently they are extending this to non season ticket holders. Last year, it was available to season ticket holders...it is a good program got free tickets and a couple of Francona jerseys....kind of mffts me a bit that you can now get these without being a season ticket holder.

That others who support the team get some benefits really doesn't hurt me and if it helps fill the stadium I'm okay with it.

My main "miff" is that it another loss of exclusive privledges that season ticket holders enjoy. It used to be that Terrace Club use was an exclusive privledge, but now anyone can go there. Last year, they took away limited "free" exchanges of unused tickets, and assigned a cost of Tribe Reward points to it.( and it was expensive). They added other things like exclusive events that STH can attend (however, often with an additional cost).
Probably, if there is one thing that I'm "butthurt" about is loss of the ability to exchange a limited amount of unused tickets for another game. Since I live 40 miles away, it pretty much sucks having to drive that distance when the weather sucks, and pay for parking only to get a rain check. The other options would be just to eat the tickets which you paid for if the game does get played....or you could pay for an exchange using your Tribe Reward points. Unfortunately, the points required for that exchange are not small...and I don't feel like spending 1/4 of my points to get some cheap seats to a game.

The other grievances you listed are legit. As someone who used to go to the Terrace Club with my grandpa all throughout my youth, I know. But a loyalty program? C'mon man.

There has to be a reason to be a season ticket holder and benefits. You can pretty much get any ticket to any game at face value through the website. There are always good seats available, especially weekday games. What is the point of being a season ticket holder when I can just buy tickets to any game I want and basically pick where I sit whenever I want to go?

You get first dibs on playoff seats. Great. They make the playoffs once every 6 years. Season ticket holders are the lifeblood of any organization. Guaranteed revenue. Paid up front. They should do a better job of keeping those folks happy.

I don't know what you define as butthurt, but it certainly is not about the "loyalty program", and I thought I made myself clear what truly bothered me.... The only reason I was mfft about that was that it was another chnage in what was STH exclusivity. If Tribe Rewards brings more fans in, I'm all for it....just let me exchange a few unused tickets without charge on MY rewards account.

I really don't want to argue about this with another tribe fan....the program is a good idea, and I'd sign up for it.

My family gave up their season tickets years ago. They weren't getting the same value for them they used to.

I realize I'm being combative but forgive me for not being empathetic towards your guys' cause when I/my family faced the same issues and acted on them instead of complaining about them.

I'm not a season ticket holder. As I stated, I have no reason to. I can buy tickets to any game I want, whenever I want to go. My point was that season ticket holders are important to organization and they should do better to take care of those people.

Our positions are far from mutually exclusive. I agree season ticket holders are important. But any time you're making a big investment like that you should be considering the value you're inputting and the value you're getting out. And if someone is so convinced that it's not worth the value but still pays for them, I refuse to give any merit to their complaining about the aforementioned value gap.

The inverse SHOULD apply to the Indians. If less and less people are investing in season tickets the Tribe should do something to incentivize them. If they're not, like Hits is suggesting, then that's on them and they shouldn't be surprised less people keep renewing.

I'm not surprised you are or are going into the law. I am pretty sure we agree on this but it feels like we are arguing.
