Doesn't help they surrounded him with 1 person who had ever had a throw from Newton...Greg Olsen.

Where is the writer of these based out of?

Blake Bortles and Geno Smith lol'd me the most. Several of Ben's were funny.

Every time they do these they make Roethlisberger's responses the dumb/meathead guy.

They must get good response from that because they really played it up on this one.

What was Ben's Wonderlic?

25

This one was really good with the screwing up of the cities but they usually really dumb him up for these. Manning & Brady, as expected with their talent/results, usually come across as the pompous a-holes. Romo, along with Sam Bradford/Dalton, usually take a beating.

The first Bortles one and then a few posts later with Geno Smith was my favorite.

25? What 's avg? QB avg?

Well, Vince Young would have had to take it 4-5 times to get up to 25, I think, but it's not in the super-smart category as known elites like Harvard Ryan Fitzpatrick.

This was last year, but as you can see, Big Ben was near the bottom of the list for QBs. Perfect score is a 50 for reference.

To stoke Failwedge's fire...

Manziel got a 32, Hoyer got a 26.

Thanks.....are QB's the position with the highest average scores?

Would like to see coaches and coordinators scores.

From what I remember QBs and offenstive tackles typically get highest scores (going off memory)...now I am looking it up...

Position-Average
OTs-26
C-25
QB-24
G-23
TE-22
S-21
LB-19
CB-18
WR-17
FB-16
RB-15

To give a comparison against real world professions:

Profession-Avg
Chemical Engineer-32
Electrical Engineer-30
Engineer (any)-29
Programmer-29
Accountant-28
Executive-28
Teacher-28
Librarian-27
Nurse-23
Cashier-21
Receptionist-21
Security Guard-17
Welder-17
Janitor-14

You can see how smart/not so smart some positions "need to be" to be played. OL and QBs are inline with many other professions, RBs and WRs are inline with Janitors and Welders.

Thanks, pretty interesting.

I will add a group you left out.

Special team coverage and return players -12 (that's negative 12 lol)

Odd....back up QB's must really be in the teens on average because of the starters listed in your earlier link and quick estimate averages those 32 numbers to about a 31 score on average.

I would say you are right, backup QBs aren't as smart as starters.

I know but it shouldn't be that big of a difference. If starters average nearly 31 and all QB round out to 24....then all the 2nd/3rd string guys avg a 20-21

Seems like a huge difference

I'm sure he isn't the only person to talk like that in the locker room. Him calling Martin a ***** is nothing. The comments about his sister are nothing. I can pretty much guarantee comments like that are made in every locker room before every game or practice. The racial stuff isn't right obviously. I don't know, I guess I'm old school and that kind of stuff doesn't fly anymore.
