Yeah, like Friday I think.

That's why in the NFL i'll never begrudge a player holding out, or asking for more, because with no guarantees, you never know.

I imagine Carson was already financially set and beyond.

How much of that 50 was guaranteed?

Hope they can continue winning. IMO good for NFL when teams like Cards, Bills, Browns are doing well.

Yeah Carson not so much in the holding out aspect, I meant it as a broad statement.

And I'm not really sure on the numbers for his deal.

I think the Cards will be ok. Stanton is a backup for a reason, but that defense is so, so good. Stanton has played well in Palmer's absence though.

Also, the article in NFL.com about the contract says it's roughly $20 mil guaranteed.

Well...I'm going to hold out on my prayers to him and his family. Lol

But do hope he can return to the league at his level

I have zero issue with this and it is spot on. Nothing to apologize for....let CBS apologizing for allowing some cussing across the air.

@AdamSchefter: Carson Palmer signed $119M deal w/ Bengals Dec. 29, 2005; tore ACL 10 days later. Palmer signed $50M deal Fri; AZ fears he tore ACL today.

Yikes.

Also didn't realize his contract was that grand. He was young and the Bengals were in the prime of their Who Dey

A lot of career money for a guy with 0 playoff wins.

They keep giving him the big money during the regular seasons...Bengals still haven't won a playoff game, hopefully the Cardinals can.

I would say the same about the GM. Hired Trestman plus stuck the Bears with Cutler for another 2 years.

I remember when people wanted Trestman for the Browns. He was in the CFL prior for a reason.

Looking at my fantasty team, and I have James Jones from Oak on it. 12 targets, 8 catches, 20 yds. LOL, how does that happen? Carr = Stud /BSPNannouncersfail

And he's probably sitting at home on his couch, counting stacks of cash and watching his former team about to throw more TD's in a game than his team will throw in 16.

Lol. Bears are so terrible. Trestman built up a lot of good faith last year, but I'd fire his ass tonight.
