Tigers are relentless tonight. Amazing they only have the 1 run so far tonight.

Great job by Atchison!

Tigers have 2 on again in the 7th. Incredible amount of runners. Shaw coming on to try to get the final out in the 7th.

Solid outing for Shaw.

Allen will get Hunter, Miggy and Victor.

Story of the night. Tigers all over the bases. Allen had both with 2 strikes and couldn't put them away.

Back to back blown saves for Shaw. His 2nd vs the Tigers this year. He didn't have his breaking ball tonight. Just an absolute dagger.

When your ace and your closer both suck in back to back games, it's time to hang it up....good night, Tribe, hello Buckeye football!!!

Allen, not Shaw...and it wasnt his 2nd versus the Tigers, since his first of the year was vs the Royals.

EDIT: it was his 2nd versus the Tigers this year. But 1st since he became the closer. He was 18/18 as the closer before Royals/Tigers in back to back.

Up and out. He wasnt even close with his fastballs. You could see that coming.

And you HAVE to go inside vs those guys and get them with offspeed away.

This is his 3rd blown save of the year. 18 for 20 coming in. However, the game vs the Tigers I was thinking of was the game in June. He entered in the top of the 10th in a tie game and Miggy doubled off the wall. So I don't know who the first one was against.

Just a killer loss.

Probably a season ender, if they dont manage to win tomorrow and Thursday.

May 19. It was right when he and Shaw were going back and forth closing games. Allen had a save earlier in the month, then a hold, then pitched in 2 losses, then a BS vs Tigers. Still didnt become closer for a few more appearances.

This one hurts real bad. Miggy and the Martinez' went 9-15 tonight. It would have been a lucky win but it was there for the taking.

The biggest and most persistent issue is the lack of add on runs. Allen will take this one on the chin but 2 runs isn't enough to win. They had chances to tack on and couldn't.

I know you cant pitch around all 3 of them. But, we HAVE to stop pitching to at least 1 of them. Its honestly a coin flip at this point, but I am sick and tired of the same 3 fucking guys beating us game in game out on that team. At least Avila looks to be out for a few games...he gets half his season totals versus the Tribe.
