Yeah, being a Reds fan I fully understand that.

I'm just very hesitant to believe Price will be a postseason stud this year. Hopefully they dot even make it. I'd rather see literally every other team in playoff contention make it instead.

We all just wanted 5-2 before the 7 game stretch. In fact, we thought that would be GREAT (with 4-3 more likely, and survivable). If they split (2-1 the next 3) we go 5-2 in the 7 game stretch (I guess I shouldnt count GM3 as a W yet vs KC), which is fantastic.

Just gotta get 2/3 now.

need to win tomorrow...I'd hate to have to take two from Verlander and Scherzer.

Verlander may have some outside the field stuff on his mind.

First team to 7 wins tomorrow

Perhaps a coy jab at Indians fans for the amount of Tiger fans at Progressive Field...

Oh well, should be dozens of great signs.

Fantastic job by Carrasco to work out of that jam only giving up 1. Tigers were aggressive to load the basses, then CC walked in a run but got a K, K and GO.

Tribe leads 2-1 B2.

His slider and change up are nasty tonight, his curve not so much....but man, he is light years ahead of where he was just 6 weeks ago.

OK, so Hammy said that Santana has walked 90 plus times for four straight years.

How does that compare to others?

Ironman: get on it.

And thank you in advance.

Well here are the only players that should top 90 this year....Santana has done it 4 straight times and the others combined have only done it 4x.....Jose Bautista has 3 of them and Stanton at 90 this year is the only other.

1919 Jack Graney 105*
1965 Rocky Colavito 93

Good job.

So my questions is: How does that compare all-time?

edit: years in a row?

In 2002 Thome had 122 but was 66 behind the NL champ Bonds

In 2004 Eric Chavez led the AL with 95 but was 137 BB behind Barry Bonds. Bonds had 232 walks in 149 games.

Mel Ott and Mickey Mantle both had 9

Several had an injury, strike or just missed right in the middle to keep from 10+

Adam Dunn had 6 in a row

The fact Santana has 94 with the way he is swinging THIS year, I think he might get 90 each year for the rest of his career lol
