That ratio is no where near accurate in any job, much less the sort of demographics drawn towards being a police officer.

And you can tell this from an interview eh?

Because of their language? or perhaps they had on "thug like clothing"?

I don't believe that information was released yet, just speculation. And the witnesses that they've been showing on tv, wouldn't hold credibility vs a cops statement. They all look like gangbangers and you think a black person would say yeah he attacked the white cop? Nope no way.
How about the cops release a fucking statement so we have something to compare the eye witness accounts to? As I said in the post above, I'd believe the cops statement if it sounds reasonable. It's hard to give the cop any benefit of the doubt if they dont say anything. And I'm saying all of this under the assumption that he did attack the cop. The issue is, the attack was over and the guy was fleeing, then surrendered himself, then was shot and killed. I think the cop couldn't control his emotions because he just got his ass kicked by some thug and lost it. He didn't shoot him "just because".

I doubt many if any at all of the people who witnessed this happen are the ones out rioting. Those are dumbasses who just look at this as a chance to rob and steal and blend in with the crowd and personally I hope they get eveyrthing coming to them.

But to discredit everyone who could potentially be an eye witness because of idiots rioting, is dumb in itself

Not everyone in a bad neighborhood is bad

Maybe because they are still investigating and interviewing witnesses? They also said they have held back because they didn't want to release the cops name in fear of his security. They release his name yesterday and he is in hiding somewhere.

She explained herself very well. Speculating about the shooting and what happened is stupid because we dont know
Speculating that everybody they interviewed were straight thugs, is completely reasonable

Yes because at least 2 of them looked like Lil Wayne. Sorry I can make all the assumptions I want. Lives in the ghetto, looks like Lil Wayne, I'm sure they are just great people.

Living in the ghetto generally isn't a choice, but circumstance. And define what "looking like Lil Wayne" means? Facial tattoos? The vast majority of witnesses I've seen interviewed don't have any of those. Clothing? If so, they must be doing pretty well if they dress like Lil Wayne. His wardrobe likely costs more than you make in 10 years.

The day after this happened CNN was all over interviewing witnesses some were fine and some were all thugged out. Yes they had facial tattoos and grills. Sorry if I equate that to a thug like most people do.

Absolutely zero police departments in the US train shoot to kill, to unload the whole magazine etc, none, nowhere. Please stop.
Midstate01;1644834 wrote:There's no such thing as training to shoot in the leg or arm. You aim for the largest region, the chest.
This is only correct thing you have said during this thread. you aim center mass, which is the most likely area to stop the threat.

Fify! Back pedal much? So you're essentially saying that since they had dreds and grills that they can't possibly be reliable witnesses? GTFOH with that simple minded shit.

Sooooo the guy who was with the man shot who says he was shot in the back is a liar... The family hired a famous guy to do an autopsy and he was not shot in the back.

This all seems pretty simple: clearly the guy should lose his badge...and it seems pretty obvious this should end there.

Just a bad reaction from a [perhaps] under-trained cop. Really shouldn't be a story.
