Glad they're making the consequences severe for raping people down there. Really sending a message.

Who would possibly allow their child, especially a daughter, to attend that school system? Good lord what a hell hole.

Has there been any talk about other high schools refusing to play them? Would be an easy way to take a stand against a program that has basically declared rape a misdemeanor.

With how tough it is for some teams to fill out the schedule, I highly doubt any school this late in the game would back out of playing them. In that part of Ohio, only 5% will even think about it anymore once HI SKOO FOOTBAW starts.

The thing is, Steubenville doesn't even play a local schedule as it is.

Doubt it. As someone said...pretty difficult to find a replacement on the schedule. Also, I am not sure if there is a time frame to pull out of a game and have it not considered a Loss.

The OHSAA should pass a rule barring convicted rapists from participating in athletics. The people of Steubenville clearly can't police themselves, so someone needs to do it for them.

This is grotesque even for a group of people that we're already considered neanderthals to begin with.
