My problem with this is they have a report showing all this harassment, but the people who were supposedly harassed weren't offended at all. "Tiggles" wrote a letter explaining how she liked her nickname, and loved her time in the band.

It seems some outsiders who read the report think the firing was justifiable...but those closest to the situation do not agree. The report is seriously flawed.

Which would you be more likely to believe... an official investigative report... or a bunch of former band members trying to protect their band's legacy and traditions... Hmmmmmm....

Just because one is a "victim", and they can't comprehend that they were a "victim", doesn't make the act any less serious/significant.

If an ar-tard is sexually abused, and the ar-tard has no idea they were sexually abused, it doesn't make it ok to sexually abuse ar-tards.

The other person in that link is a PhD who works for MSU now. They both seem like they need white knights like yourself telling them when they should be offended and improving their lives. Get over yourself.

I think some of those band members just liked the attention by getting sexual nicknames and such as they probably never got any in HS.

Just because a report is labelled "an official investigative report" and bears the Universities' name on it, doesn't mean it was thorough and conducted fairly.
This looks more like a railroad job by the way it was conducted.

Absolutely right.

We've seen other "official" reports at Ohio State that are political fix its such as the one that "exposed" the horrors of tattoo-gate.

Yeah, it's not over...Crazy isn't it. Waters submitted a 7 page report to the "investigators" who never even referenced it in their findings. The Alumni Band Association is pissed. Michael Drake isn't off to a very good start as university president.

I am an OSU alum. We don't care about this. The band can come out and entertain us for 20 minutes while we wait for people that actually matter at the university to resume their football game. Outside of that, STFU and know your place.
