Because you are clicking on a thread that doesn't interest you?
Really ,Chief... half the posts on this board are post pubescent males calling each other names.

If the thread doesn't interest you don't click on it...it's not that hard.

Why are you a member of the board then? Other than to circle jerk in the politics forum?

Because half is still good.

You see, I don't click on threads that I have no interest in. Do you see how that works?

Your forum usage is poor even by middle aged men standards.

I posted some updates today for people who are interested.

If you are not interested, don't click. There are dozens of threads all over this site! How stupid is it to waste your time if you don't care? If I'm not interested in a thread I don't click on it.

Imagine the life scarring that these kids went through though; oh no I have to stand around my friends in underwear. Oh the humanity. Grow up.

Thank you!

I didn't even start the thread and there are at least a few people that might be interested in the story judging by the # of initial posts. A lot of people rushed to judgement, but there is a lot of stuff beneath the surface and more than meets the eye.
The thread has not died because the developing story has not died. The story was reported on by at least two Cleveland stations yesterday(that I saw) and is being covered by national news media. There are a lot of angles, aspects , and ramifications of what is going on here, some of which merit better comments than sub 100 IQ statements, but I can understand that you might not be interested.
The thread is open for those who want to discuss them.

Not interested????...don't click on the thread. Simple request.

I've already explained that my initial reaction was based on the newly discovered trash investigation that was done. Seems like Waters was the guy who was trying to fix the culture and was scapegoated. I'm definitely considering withholding my Alumni donation for next year.

Ha. I have given $5k annually since graduating 3 years ago for a total of $15k so far. $5k isn't a lot to a university with a multi-billion dollar endowment fund but I vote with my money.

Make it $10K and you get the big opportunity to buy season tickets and you can sit with the rest of us President Club Members.

I need the capital right now. My goal is to donate $1B to OSU at some point in my life.

Keep on Keeping on man. As an alum I don't care if it's just "the band" - it's a big deal. TBDBITL is important. Fuck anyone who thinks otherwise.

Complaining about the underwear practice at college is pretty childish. The girls track team wear less when practicing and I bet they don’t wear underwear. Lol.

I like the updates-keep'em coming.

I say outsource Script Ohio and Buckeye Battle Cry to a professional marching band and be done with it.

I can't imagine any track athlete wearing an undergarment unless they have an injury and need compression shorts. Running unis are already lined for both sexes. When you see dudes out running in the neighborhood there is very little separating their manhood from you.

Exactly. I haven't decided what my donation will be this year, but will probably at least reduce the size of it and attach a note as to why, unless this mess is cleaned up.

The way I see it, barely 3 weeks on the job, the new president comes in and creates a firestorm over a single complaint ...and worse...turns it over to outside agencies to continue to investigate, essentially throwing a lot of present and former administrators under the bus, as well as firing a talented, innovative OSU alumni who probably loves the university more than you and I. And for what? This is not a scandal like Penn State. This is about college traditions that simply needed to be ended, and there is plenty of evidence that process was well underway.
