A 13th-round pick in 2012, Travis was one of the biggest surprises in the Minor Leagues in 2013. He finished second in the Minor Leagues with a .351 batting average and third with 177 hits.
Travis has proven he simply knows how to put the bat on the ball. He has an advanced approach at the plate and uses his quick, compact swing to make hard contact. He showed some surprising power as a professional, but he's more of a gap hitter than a slugger. He's a heady player, allowing his average speed to play up on the basepaths.
Man I thought so. He was making great play after great play and looked good at the plate as well. Didnt know if I just caught an average player having the night of his life or if he was legit. He made some Brandon Phillips-esque plays.

Do you see him switching positions then? Cause Kinsler is locked into 2B till 2018 unless one of them changes positions or is traded.

More probably to be traded for relief pitcher.

I don't know….I havent heard his name mentioned for shortstop-which is a total mess right now. Suarez and Romine are both rookies and they suck. Iglesias is out for the year….they are all first or second year players. Castallenos is a rookie playing 3rd most of the time (Cabrera played there last night). He's not lighting things up....if he could play those 2 positions, he'd probably be in the mix. SS is so bad-some Tigers fans want to trade for Asdrubal. (God no!)

Being only 5'-9" is probably a draw back to playing anywhere else.
