Owl problems?

An owl has a few small baby owls in the neighborhood.

Now the big adult owl divebombs people in the evening who are walking near their place. A couple of times even making contract with the people.

Other than shooting them, of which we want to do but being in town, and shooting owls probably isnt even legal, what other ways can they do to get these damn owls away?

Owls are Federally protected. Can't kill it. Do you know where the nest is? They say shine a bright light on it. Make noise around it. Remove their food source (keep your dogs and cats inside)

This is obviously a Thugger Owl. A Great White Owl would never do such a thing.

I would suggest some Mad Dog as a bribe, or call the Sherriff.

In the neighbors defense they get dive bombed when they walk to their car in their driveway, or to cook on teh grill, or hell anything in the backyard.

The owls havent gone far...not even across the street so they dont bother me at all.

Not sure why Said is getting all butthurt. He usually lol's when things dive bomb. Especially at airshows.

I thought it was illegal for owls to build or otherwise damage or displace human territory, not to mention inflicting violence against a human. The disregard for human rights within the animal kingdom is so frightening. The neighbors should get a restraining order, or at least do what barack does and wear a helmet.

Few time a day and later in the evening beat on the tree with a bat a few times .... the sound and vibration will send them on their way to another tree...
