I did say I recognize the influence and impact The Beatles had on music. I just believe they are overrated musically. I don't recall saying they were terrible or didn't deserve any recognition. I just find their music to be boring save a handful of songs. Zeppelin, The Who, The Stones, Sabbath, Rush, Pink Floyd, Hendrix are all artists from that era I personally find to be more exciting and better musically than The Beatles.

The truth is when they came here they were a boy band.( I wanna hold your hand) Then they started taking drugs and made some ok songs, I am just suppose to accept they are the greatest ever?

So I accept their place/role in music history but I just think their were better bands then and better bands since.
