I never said he was out I said he was injured. They were talking this morning how he has injured ribs and if he can be effective.

They've calmed down now, but from the start of the game through celebrating that first goal was ridiculously loud.

Haha I didn't realize Italy's backup keeper is sirigu. They'll be fine. Sirigu is really good.

This England-Italy match is the first one I've seen so far but it's been very entertaining. Missed the first 2 goals but that was a nice pass and finish on the Balotelli goal.

England looked flat with no energy. I know the conditions have to suck.

I'm trying to get some of the games on vbookie, got the next few days up so far, pulling odds from Vegas Insider.

I did the next week, which takes it through 2 rotations of group play. I'll do the 3rd leg next Friday or Saturday.

The spark Drogba has provided is the same energy I was hoping the US would use Landon for.

Drogba and Landon are both over the hill and past their prime but both have experience and are the best players in the history of their country and could provide energy. Drogba didn't really do anything on any of those goals but he did bring an excitement to the rest of the team.

Some underwhelming games on today.

I'll take the favorites, Swiss France and Argentina.
