Cuban never one to stay quiet is getting some heat from people about bringing up hoodies and inadvertently reminding people of trayvon Martin.

When will people quit being so sensitive. In my opinion Cuban is speaking the truth.

If you had a camera on anyone for a week, you would call them a piece of shit of a human. That's cause we are all pieces of shit by the standards of media and public opinion.

As some point in life you just gotta say "I don't a give a fuck about sheep fuckers" and be on with your life.

Hopefully we can create a following of people who can grasp that logic.

Cuban is a dolt, but he makes a good point. Absolutely not a single one of us has never made a stupid comment before. Be it sexist, racist, culturalist (I made that up), homophobic, heterophobic, speciesist, etc. The culture of victimization in the USA needs to stop and everyone needs to get over themselves if they are offended by every little thing that might be counter to their beliefs.

His comment was actually pretty damn amazing. If you read the whole interview he makes a great point about racism but instead people are focusing on one small part.

ESPN Headline: Cuban apologizes to Martins, defends words

Neo-McCarthyism.....except instead of being brought in front of the government, it is the media conducting the interrogations.

Cuban is spot on with his comments. Most of the media if being approached by a black male wearing a hoodie would walk across the street as well. It's getting annoying as hell to see people being vilified for speaking the truth.

Reps and +1,000. I think we might have hit a tipping point with this. In the 90's in college we had political correctness and it was lame. And now with this idiocy we actually might get over it. And it took Mark freaking Cuban to say it.

Everyone has their own prejudices. There is no way our family would let one of our daughters marry a Muslim. It would never happen.

Is that bigoted? Perhaps. Does that make us bad people? I don't really think so, it is just that we have different ideals.

I feel like the media wants some race war. EVERYTHING is racist. Cnn.com last weekends top story was some mayor in the northeast who called the president the n word. How is that a top story?

White people are the most oppressed people in the world when it comes to words. Its bullshit. I didn't own any slaves, my parents didn't, my grand parents...didn't...great grand parents...nope....great GREAT grandparents...nope. Instead of worrying about what words are being spoken how bout be thankful you aren't living in a grass hut getting chased by lions. Slavery is wrong, but now that we are 4 generations or more removed from it, be thankful for what you have, not worry about ways to get things from people because you don't have as nice of things as them.

I'm so tired of the racism debate. ESPN could drive a nun to cuss with their coverage of such topics. I didn't hear 1 person on ESPN mention that Cuban said he would walk across the street if a big white guy with tattoos all over his face was walking towards him. I heard a few say his comments were almost as bad as Sterling's. ESPN is almost as bad as MSNBC.

That CNN **** calling his reference intolerable is that fucking white guilt. She would turn the other way in a heartbeat if she saw black guys at night wearing hoodies. Fuck that bitch.

The media loves to show how not racist they are yet MSNBC employs Al Sharpton, and he's a huge racist.

What I find funny is all the talking heads in the media always say "we need an honest discussion about racism in this Country". But when issues like this come out, where someone is being honest, they jump on the person, drag them through the mud and call them a racists. These idiots don't want an honest discussion on anything, they want everyone to think like them and if not, they will single you out and try to destroy you.

What they mean about 'an honest discussion about race' is "How do we give minorities more free stuff so that they can compete with white people?".

Racism is unlikely to die out completely at any point in time. There's a lot of research on human interactions and biases and the reality is people tend to like/favor people who look like them. It's not bigotry, its reality and everyone experiences that including minorities. We shouldn't sit here and trash anyone who is honest about their own biases however the media can get eyeballs looking at articles calling so and so a racist.

It's the same shit with Sterling; how do we call a guy with black players, a black GM, a black coach, and a front office which is largely black a racist? He may not like black people, but he sure as shit values them as people and for what they provide in skills rather than just on the color of their skin. That is OKAY with me.
