I had the privilege of coaching this young man in jr high basketball and football. Zach was first thought to have Mono, but blood test later revealed Leukemia. I just thought I would share this with the OC since this is such a big Ohio State fan base.

Funny story about Zach...
I was coaching a JV baseball team against Piketon and we were in a very tight game. I saw Zach throwing a bullpen session outside the field and figured that's who they were bringing in the shut us down (he was better than most varsity pitchers I had seen that year)...They never did bring him and after the game I asked the coach why he didn't bring him in..(He was wearing baseball pants and a Piketon shirt, so I figured his jersey was in the dugout) The coach informs me that Zach is only in 7TH GRADE!!! I knew right then this kid was going to be something special, which he was and is. Prayers sent to him and very hopeful he can make a full recovery from this.
