Nice deck furniture. Looks very stealable.

Sorry to disappoint you.

To help eliminate water getting into my man cave, this year I put mulch beds down the two sides of the house that didn't have anything in order to put a slope next to the house. 120' of black edging($120) 2 scoops of mulch($40) 5 burning bushes, 4 chardonnay pearls, 1 wine and roses, 4 day lillies($430). Topsoil(free, thanks to gramps)

Did you build that deck?

I was looking into tearing mine down and redoing a ground level one like that but make it about 5-6 times bigger than the existing. Just wondering what the cost of materials if you did it yourself.

I did build it. It took a few weekends working on my own but it turned out pretty nice. I used https://deckplans.com/ for planning purposes.

Thanks. Will check it out. I just stained mine a couple of weeks ago so it may be 2 summers out..
On a related note the weekend I did stain mine the neighbor lady told her husband..."I am going over there to check out his deck".
Husband: "You are gonna check out his WHAT?"
Woman: Deck
Husand: Oh, thought you said something else.....

The little iron fence looks stupid. Take the plastic covers off the new porch furniture. Get some cool flower pots and not the cheap ass plastic ones. Your deck and stain looks awesome!

Hope this helps.

The little iron fence looks stupid. Get a few flat stones and make a path across the grass. Take the plastic covers off the new porch furniture. Get some cool flower pots and not the cheap ass plastic ones.

Everything else I like.

Hope this helps.

No doubt the deck looks awesome other than the white trash Lowes plastic flower pots and generic cheap out of place iron fence.

You mean the two trash cans don't do the trick of making it look white trash?

Justin, you now have reason to ban said/salto/HOFoncoattails forever. Make it happen.

The trashcans are only there temporarily. IDGAF what you think about the fence or the flower pots. Hope this helps.

It's still standing. Needs a new coat of paint on the trim.

I threw down a mix of wildflower seeds along the fence and covered it with straw. The right side of the fence is likely going to be mulched since it is just my garden area. I will likely put one more raised bed on that side.

The zip ties on the fence add a nice touch.

It was to keep the two pieces of the gate together for installation.

How do you mow your grass? Looks too small for a push mower.

Is that code for, "it's my lock to keep out the riffraff."?

I have a push mower. The new additions certainly cut down on the grass to mow but the mower still works just fine. I will probably get myself a reel mower if I do decide to mulch the right side.
